Yeah. Only 926 & 929 are the only ones with roof horns that are not K2s. More times than not, they usually keep using the plow K2s more often due to horn settings. Some engineers do the change at times primarily if needed.
What a beautifully tuned Canadian K3L. They are distinctly different, and in my opinion, much better sounding than the American-made and tuned K3L horns (technically called K3LA with the A to tell you it's American). Also note that the description is incorrect. The horns you hear on the Metrolink are Canadian tuned K3Ls, not K3LAs.
F125s suck they should be retired because they have bad horns. K5LAs are better. Metrolink Should order SC44s To Replace Their F125s. If not, maybe Metrolink Should Get good horns for the F125s Maybe K5LAs Or K3Ls
The horn isn't the reason to retire a locomotive. Just swap the horn out. The F125 should replace the chargers. I agree with the horn though, it's awful as fuck! They need to change the K2 horns to K5LAs or K3Ls for their fleet.
@@amtrak_121 Watch your Language and no swearing, sure Metrolink should order SC44s To Replace Their F125s Because F125s suck they should be retired and scrapped
K3LA and K5LA 👍🏻
The K3L vs the K5LA
Those Rotem Cars are 10 years old now!
Time flies!
I didn't even know they had anything other than K2s. I must live under a rock lol

@FoolishMortal01 They also made it hard to change the horns outside of CMF
At the beginning of the video it sounded like both the k5la and the k3l were the same
