- Time flies when you're havingf fun after 2.5 years I've laid down 5800 miles on my 2021 Harley Davidson Iron 883. In this video I share with you what I like about my Iron 883 and what I don't like about it as well as some of the improvements i've made to the stock configuration that didn't cost any money.

I know people say don't get attached to your first bike but it's hard not to. That first love is hard to let go of. I want a 4th one. Argument for the wife is that my first two bikes are really just 1 so I only really have 2 bikes instead of 3...😁
I've been riding on the street for 48 years. I've had around 50 bikes. All kinds of bikes, big bikes, small bikes, everything but crotch rockets. I've had a couple of Goldwings, but sold them because I found them boring. Might as well drive a convertible car. Three Harleys, only one bought new, a 2006 Sportster 1200L. I am now 64 years old, and kinda going back to smaller and midsized bikes. I like everything about the Iron 883 except the color. I just can't deal with the flat black. I like lots of bright shiny paint, bright aluminum, and tons of chrome. I have added lots of chrome to my 1200L. I also have a 1989 FXRS Low Rider, and a 2002 Sportster 883C. For me, the things I like about Harleys that no other bike has are the looks, except the flat black, the sound (all three of mine have aftermarket exhausts) and the feel. IMO, the EVO engine is by far the best engine H-D ever made. The Twin Cam had the sound and feel, but is not reliable. The M8 has nothing. It has no feel because of the counterbalancers, and the design changed the sound so much that even with aftermarket pipes it doesn't sound like a Harley. The "new Sportster" is a 100% Japanese design, it has no sound or feel, and it's as ugly as it gets. It also seems to be unreliable.

I just got a use 2019 iron 883 with 3,000 miles for about $7,500 with taxes and dealer fees.
I'm looking to sell my Sporty and upgrade to a Softail. I kinda wish I would have started with a Softail but at the time buying new wasn't an option and the used M8's were too expensive. I bought my '08 XL1200L Anniversary for $6k and put about $3k into it. Someone is going to get a great bike for $6.9k that I'm currently trying to sell it for. I'll upgrade to a M8 Heritage next year. You have me spoiled with the hot babes in your videos. lol
I’m looking to get a newer or new bike as well but trying my hardest to hold onto the sporty! I’d have babes in every video but I get comments about needing to keep the content spouse friendly so I’m spreading out the babes until I figure out a balance
