When our soldiers came back from that war they were treated like 💩, like they were responsible... I would like to personally like to THANK EVERY SOLDIER, AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR THEIR SERVICE FOR THIS COUNTRY...WE WILL BE GREAT AGAIN, SOON...
We will be great again soon? Afraid not this country is on the edge of becoming like China a communist socialist country our military is broken only hope this country has is we the people but this is no longer the land of the brave the people find it easier to hide and comply then to resist no all still some true people left but they are a dying breed. So no we will not be great again. Sorry but Truth needs to out.
Flubby 18, You're 100% ! After my first 9 month Vietnam deployment I volunteered for another deployment. Before my request was approved I had to see a Naval Officer Psychiatrist who checked me out. I was approved and the rest is history. 18 months in Vietnam, 67-68 USN MCB 133 A-CO 5TH PLATOON !
I was wondering about that, thought that there is a limit on re-upping. The fact that literary license is taken when writing these stories including the tales/lies that are told in the storylines. 🥴🤨
Bad Ass was a vigilante movie. Vietnam Vets they were heroes were really treated badly when they returened home. I guess that happened with all vets post WWII. Hello from India 🇮🇳
Knew it was fiction as soon as the narrator said Frank enlisted in the Army and was sent to Vietnam for 10 years. Nobody was deployed to Vietnam for 10 years!
This movie shows how much camera magic is done in Hollywood. For the majority of my childhood I thought Trejo was like 7ft tall…whole time he’s like 5’ 5” 🤦🏿
It's not magic , when someone is not standing next to the person it's hard to tell their height. They put shorter people around to give the appearance of being taller. And now most people are not in the same place. I can do my part in New York, you can do your part in California on blue screen then they put it together.
Hmmm …. So Frank’s friend Klondike took the usb drive from the thug leader and said to frank the content will be worth $$ but instead it just brought him never ending, life-threatening troubles until the very end when he finally defeats the thug leader and the cops arrested the thug and corrupted mayor….so…he didn’t get $$ like his friend boasts about??? Lool… seems like a lot of trouble and unnecessary ordeal over a usb drive and he didn’t get any $$ out of it. Got a new gf that’s about it. 😂
The ending with bus chase was funny😂 bad ass needed a domestic abused victims help to defeat and he asked the driver and he let him drive a bus no need to figure out the controls like hand brake n gear
Exactly. First thing you do with an ultra-secret flash drive, is make a million copies and give it to all your friends. Besides, if you only have one copy, what if the flash drive dies?! And also, these are supposed to be professional gangsters, but they've never heard of "encryption"?
For the 1st couple of minutes I didn't realise this was from a movie lol. I thought it was a true story being told through pictures etc like you often see posted on here.
That's a lot of "reups". I did know a Green Beret who did three tours. I asked him why the reups? He said he was taught to kill and did it well; he was a survivor with with great skills. He wanted to pass his survivor tactics on to the young troops so they had a better chance of going home.
Heard tell before but he dropped out and lived intent city so he decided to catch bird to china and charlon priest and said believe people can have his money and give it away on he stuck his toung out
It may be only a movie like dozens made relating to the Vietnam War but the war in Vietnam was as real as the war in Afghanistan, Korea and WWII. Don't joke about it. Many men who experienced it will tell you real stories and some were even stationed in the Philippines when the US had several military bases there. Four U.S. Presidents have been, in varying degrees, involved with the Vietnam War: (L to R) Dwight D. Eisenhower ('59 photo); John F. Kennedy ('63 photo); Lyndon B. Johnson ('68 photo); and Richard M. Nixon. Nixon. Richard Nixon (January 9, 1913 - April 22, 1994) was known for his strong anti-communist feelings, yet would be the president most responsible for ending the war in Vietnam (although he was unable to see its end from the White House).
Nobody is ever “just” a passenger. Think about 9/11. They weren’t “just passengers”. Also, the movie 10 rings and that bus fight are just like this movie.
So Danny was 10 years in country? That would mean that he served in Nam damn near the entire length of the war. I like Danny but I don't think we ever crossed rice paddy paths. This why California is so fucked up. They're all stuck in the Holly Weird mentality! This story should be capped off with "This BUD is for you'! Wakodahatchee Chris
It's true, I was in Vietnam for 12 years strait. I re-upped year after year. They say sarge you are so hardcore. I was with the 307th combat infantry Band Brigade (Flute Section) of the 777-engineer company, 106 jungle squad. Secret squad of the 995th airborne supply battalion. Fort Pachuco Arizona. It's a Pop Secret unit. Only the president, me and my squad leader know of this unit, so please everybody, don't say a word. My mommy might assign me back to my basement.

Wow a politician who is corrupt , do you believe it ?

Thanks for your service Sir 🙏🏼
Danny Trejo always good he also surprises me how good he is in comedys too
Agreed. Hes a brilliant actor
Nobody got "sent off' to Vietnam for ten years. You couldn't even volunteer for that without raising questions about your sanity.
Yeah what a crazy thing to say.
Guys it’s a fictional movie… not real life
I did in my dreams 😹😹😹🙏
I was wondering about that, thought that there is a limit on re-upping. The fact that literary license is taken when writing these stories including the tales/lies that are told in the storylines. 🥴🤨
No thay didn't
Can't believe that I actually sat and listened to this expecting something from it.
And now because he's in NYC, he is arrested and charged with assault for protecting people from criminals.
That is something that actually happens in Toronto.
Bad Ass was a vigilante movie. Vietnam Vets they were heroes were really treated badly when they returened home. I guess that happened with all vets post WWII. Hello from India 🇮🇳
Steals a bus and borrows a bus...next time my car quits, I will consider borrowing a bus, cause that's not stealing.🤣
Danny Trejo's rule in the movies always a VILLAIN rule, but here,he's the Lead rule.
How do you confuse Danny Trejo with a "passenger?" They had it coming.
probably not a fan of his doughnuts
Yea, this aint no Iggy Pop video!
Thanks for sharing with clear and easy to comprehend the story.
Everybody knows that Rambo is the only man to have stayed in Vietnam 10 years!!!!
IKR !! ❤
Great story thank you very much from Sydney Australia 😊
Once a badass always a badass.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Love Danny Trejo ❤
One of my favorite Danny Trejo films.
7:41: People threaten your life over a thumb drive. Naturally, you sit on your front porch with a boy and a computer to do your investigation. 😂
I like that Frank He's a good man
Not used to seeing machete plays a good guy
Didnt he play in spy kids
Favourite quote from Danny Trejo, hes got vin diesel tied up, he says . ‘Flap around like a marionette’ 😊
I did one year in Vietnam worst year of my life God Bless America
I love u man. I wish we could have beer sometimes.
I had a friend who volunteered to go back to Vietnam so he spent four years in Vietnam.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
Hellboy as a Mayor
A complete reversal of the real life incident that this movie is based on .... hollyweird never fails to lie

What happened? I never heard of this
@@ramppmontanaaa Epic Beard Man
Didn't know it was based off something that really happened..
There is a sequel😵
One hell of a great movie.
Be nice if it has T homas Jane from the PUNISHER as Frank instead.
Knew it was fiction as soon as the narrator said Frank enlisted in the Army and was sent to Vietnam for 10 years. Nobody was deployed to Vietnam for 10 years!

@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
This movie shows how much camera magic is done in Hollywood.
For the majority of my childhood I thought Trejo was like 7ft tall…whole time he’s like 5’ 5” 🤦🏿
Lol
He's the son of a small farmer.
He has done a Heroic thing in real life, in the last couple of years though, go look it up.
It's not magic , when someone is not standing next to the person it's hard to tell their height. They put shorter people around to give the appearance of being taller. And now most people are not in the same place. I can do my part in New York, you can do your part in California on blue screen then they put it together.
Yep. But he was and is a real badass. His first movie job was teaching Eric Roberts how to box. And Roberts didn't give him any shit.
This like a comon guy fighting Ontarios premier "Dough Ford"
Don't mess with him. He was a boxing champ in the California penal systwm
Clinton body count reminder... 😂
Bad ass , Retired is Good or Bad Time !
Retired 4 You.
Thank you 🙂
That was one of his best movies
Hmmm …. love this movie
Great movie.

Should have been named Superman.
I love military men My late boyfriend was in the military navy Norfolk Virginia He was on the John F. Kennedy
It’s Howard Hamlin !
A decent lawyer and he would have gotten 100% disability from the VA, which is over 4k a month tax free now.
negative 100% is currently 3600.00 per month, when this movie was made it was more like 2500.00
Well he did have Howard🤣 too bad he took to the force instead🥴
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I should have applied for my disability pension benefits.
@@grider421I was going to say that. I"m 71 and 100%.
I gave up when they said a Police Officer had a friend.
Fav Danny Trejo movie
They had the draft at that time so they could get anyone they want. Even elvis was drafted.
He steals a BUS ... then tries RUNNING away!!??
Amber is way outta Frank's league...😮
He is a badass
Howard Hamlin origin story
It’s such a problem in the Latin quarters of Los Angeles. These types are always there doing shenanigans.
Someone should tell Howard AKA Marlock that impersonating a cop is illegal 😅
10 years what does he expect 😂
Hey fox recap man can u do the movie called dumb and dumber
its a good movie keep upp the hard work!!
SENT TO VIET NAM FOR 10 YEARS... THAT'S TOTAL BULL💩💩💩🤡😂🤣
Imagine being jumped by two guys named Terence and Sebastian.
Thank you
To Me any Movie with full of Acidity and fights is a real movie.🤣🤣🤣
"He was sent to Vietnam for Ten years " Eh !
Awwwww ❤ happy endings 👍🙃
It's almost like you can't just make a copy or leak the content of flashdrive online
Exactly. First thing you do with an ultra-secret flash drive, is make a million copies and give it to all your friends. Besides, if you only have one copy, what if the flash drive dies?! And also, these are supposed to be professional gangsters, but they've never heard of "encryption"?
Was that bus chase in the movie or did they just lift it from Red Heat?
FOX ?? ... 🤣
KANE'S PARENTS AND KANE AND HIS WIFEY KEKE REMEMBER THIS MOVIE
He did it all for the nookie.... the nookie
For the 1st couple of minutes I didn't realise this was from a movie lol. I thought it was a true story being told through pictures etc like you often see posted on here.
@Hello there, how are you doing this blessed day?
No one was sent to Viet Nam for 10 years.
A nice ending.
Could someone please tell me what this movie is. I just have to watch the whole thing.
You just did believe me.
Vietnam War veteran .
A TOUR IN VIETNAM = 12 MONTHS . ONE COULD DO 3 TOURS POSSIBLY ..! 36 MONTHS WITH ONE MONTH LEAVE FOR EACH YEAR .?
Yes he was just a passenger
Wot is the name to this film?
I remember this movie and thought that it was pretty good
10 years in Nam?????? ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,but it was really an 8 year war for combat soldiers.
What's the name of this movie ???
This actually happened (vietnam veteran forgotten) They came home from war and nobody wanted them...
That is awesome
Very good
10 years in Vietnam?🤔🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's a lot of "reups".
I did know a Green Beret who did three tours. I asked him why the reups?
He said he was taught to kill and did it well; he was a survivor with with great skills.
He wanted to pass his survivor tactics on to the young troops so they had a better chance of going home.
... living happy ever after until he farted at the table.
Heard tell before but he dropped out and lived intent city so he decided to catch bird to china and charlon priest and said believe people can have his money and give it away on he stuck his toung out
So... basically, this is a documentary...
I would have been traumatized by that wig I was forced to wear.
From the face of a girl with a beard to danny trejo's face. The lack of facial care has consequences
Unfortunately, this movie is an accurate portrayal of what really goes on in big cities.
You could have just said: “ this is a terrible movie!”
10 years in Vietnam? Which Vietnam?
At least it was a happy ending .
Not like reality.

Btw second comment
How is 'Khukri' an antic ?

It's true, I was in Vietnam for 12 years strait. I re-upped year after year. They say sarge you are so hardcore. NOT just a passenger but a TRANS passenger
This is a big fat LIE.😅
He fought like not ahuman
Jit i thought how was ranoldo in this movie💀
He has learned the truth about police in poor neighborhoods. If we stand up and protect out own place then there's no need for them
But y'all won't - too busy fighting one another. 🙂
