I loved that she won, I just watched the season 2 days ago and as they both were dancing for the crown I was telling my husband how they both really deserved to win the crown but I was really rooting for Yvie because I thought she was so genuine and was keeping it real the whole time. To me, season 11 is trying to replicate season 4 in the sense that we have the oddball winner in Yvie, the polished professional in Brooke, the villain in Silky, and Akeria is.... there... (no shade at her, love her, but it's clear that production didn't really know what to do with her so they put her on the sidelines in the episodes). The weird thing though is that while Sharon was the clear frontrunner in season 4, for Yvie they kind of wanted to push her more as an underdog so they didn't give her wins where they could've. I think, for example, that Yvie should've won the makeover challenge as she had the best and most creative looks, and the best runway performance with Scarlet that really embodied the looks she presented. Brooke and Plastique were just wearing the same outfit in different color schemes and she should've been read for that (the judges are consistently inconsistent when judging the makeover challenge and often reward complacency over creativity which is why it's my least favorite every season). Had Yvie won that challenge then her and Brooke would've been on an even playing field (though Yvie would've actually had an edge over Brooke since Brooke was in the bottom 2 twice while Yvie only once) in the finale and less people would've discredited Yvie's win.
