Organizations That Assists Nurses.

In this podcast, we invited Marcia Proto to share with us her organization's agenda and how it helped a lot of aspiring nurses and registered nurses from the state of Connecticut. Also, she will discuss the current challenges of nursing when it comes to staffing, leadership, education, etc. Join us to all learn from her experience and maybe these best practices could also be applied to other states not just to Connecticut.
Marcia has led the nursing workforce efforts in Connecticut for over 10 years and currently works for two nursing associations in Connecticut, the Connecticut center for nursing workforce and the Connecticut League for Nursing. While she is not a nurse herself, she has dedicated her time and career to addressing Connecticut's nursing shortages, nursing student capacity issues, online education for re-entry into practice, and a whole ton of professional development avenues.
