even naomasa's men are afraid of him. when he got shot at sekigahara, none of his men dare to do the honor to cut his head. he then stand up and still survive the battle
I love these mini history lessons on Feudal Japan. Thank you!
Not a problem and always a pleasure ha.
"Drifters" brought me here :)
who was the takeda commander who gave the idea of the red Devil's ?
Masakage Yamagata most likely.
Masakaga was such a Chad as well.
He is related to the (in)famous Ii Naosuke, right?
To what I can find, he is of the same clan so he should be related but I can't say for sure too.
What was the Psychologically effect of the red armor
Hmm well to what I read it was more to be noticed as most samurai would buy their own armour and weapons but his whole troop would have all red armour and weapons which stood out as a group. Add that with his reputation and you pro. would not want to be charged by his cavalry unit.
The red armor was used as a form of mental psychology it was intended to strike fear and unnerve the enemy.
My family comes from the ii clan
how dare you disrespect the ii clan? GAIJIN!
