No idea why Euro spec Wranglers have a lock for the hood release. North American versions just have the two clips and a center latch (no key required).
@@piemar97 Unfortunately I don't think that the 2 door has enough space for the battery pack. It takes up all the room under the back seat of the 4 door so the floor is not flat when the back seat is folded down. Not a big deal for us as it is our 3rd vehicle and not really used for moving stuff around.
Of course, it is better than the new "defender"-discovery. The wrangler stays true to its roots and hardcore off-road character.

Headlights are expensive easily stolen
Mine (Eu spec Rubicon 2 Door 2021) has a camera there instead of a lock. I think this wrangler in the video is just not fully specced out.
@@piemar97 I don't have the front camera on my Rubicon 4xe, but don't have a lock either.
@@rich7447 Oh well, what matters is you've got a Wrangler! I hope they make a 4xe for the 2-Door Wrangler too, cause I ain't giving up on it!

I still do not understand why LR decided to drop the iconic design of the Defender for something that looks like it came out Star Trek.
blasphemy in the first sentence of the video and i ended the video there. blasphemy is low class and not appreciated.
You're on the internet. Don't be such a god-damned weenie for god's sake.
Yeah, well I don’t appreciate your classism.
