Yan is very intelligent fighting style. I love those side trips he uses so officiant, I've only seen them a few times from Spider Silver. Yan is fun to watch. Great mix of skills he possess.
Yan is fighting with that confidence again. I feel like his confidence waned a bit after losing a couple of close fights I felt he won and then being dominated by Merab. After beating Yadong and Figgy in some close fights I see that confidence he had as champion again. It seemed to me as if he was fighting off of his backfoot too much during his streak and not taking as many chances as he used to… he was a bit more reserved and cautious and got hit too much as a result. In the last 2 fights he’s looked more like himself as you see that confidence in his killer ability starting to return. I would like to see the O Malley rematch before a rematch against Merab. I’m glad Yan got it back together, definitely one of my favorite fighters.
