Wigan Galleries Update - Late August

The late august update that covers both the old Galleries site and checks in on the College site. Along with updating on whats going on with other aspects of the town.

Its very unprofessional to leave behind the structures that are still standing,what on earth do they hope to build upon

Alot of the main floor was left there as there is a vast basement area. As the site is a large cutting into a hill. what is full floor at the top becomes a first/second floor at the battom of the hill. The structure up top of market gate is thwere as the plan was to use some of it as the base for the new market hall.
The market hall that is still standing will be demolished once the new market is built. (If that ever happens)
There is some clean up going on around the site currently to prep some spots for the next phase.
