Every day I think to myself standing be for God with him saying "well done my Faithful servent". Or he will say "depart from me. I never knew you." It terrifies me. Its going to be one or the other.

I was living in fornication and sin in my life, once I started to study The Word and get closer to God, I started to fear God and His Judgements. Personally I learnt the more you fear God the more you will want to keep His commands and stay away from sin. This is never taught in most modern day churches. Thank God I broke away from my old church that preached the prosperity gospel.

You really think an all loving god who desires a relationship with his own people would want fear from them?
Sounds insulting if you ask me.

I think the point of fearing God is due to his holiness. Sin has to be punished and we can't take that lightly. God is not a big teddy bear. The basics of the gospel is that we absolutely deserve to be condemned and punished for our sin, but that God himself provided a sacrifice that could redeem us from our fallen place. His nature and power make him terrifying and it's because of that terror that his mercy is so precious.
Romans 11 says that God is both kind and severe. Verse 22 says "So take a good look at God's kindness AND severity; on the one hand, severity towards those who fell off; but kindness towards you - provided you maintain yourself in that kindness! Otherwise, you too will be cut off (cut off of the Covenant, accursed)!"

@@danielbu2611 So your god started off all humans as cursed by default but then sacrificed his own son in order to exploit his own loophole is what you’re saying.
That’s basically like throwing a bunch of people overboard a ship and then holding up a life jacket and claiming “if you believe in unicorns, I’ll throw you a life vest after I sacrifice my son”.
No good god worthy of worship would threaten his own creation while hiding from them.

Not a single thing you just said was true or even what the Bible says about it.
I thought I was responding to someone who already took the Bible to be true.
I'll grant that I don't totally understand it myself, but I would be happy to toss these ideas around with you if you want. But I'd like to understand your motives a bit first.
What brings you into this comment section? Are you searching for something?

    • @2l84me8

@@danielbu2611 I’m here because I want to accept as many true things as possible and reject as many false ideas as possible. And I take it you would agree with that concept?
I’ve read the bible, the fall of man and the idea that everyone is born as a reprobates before we have even taken our first first and deemed guilty of committing a finite crime that we’ve never never done.
That’s bad enough on its own, but now you assert that this loving god will excuse all of that by sacrificing himself to himself on a cross and you also must accept this outrageous claim or else suffer a fate worse than death.
How can you possibly justify and defend such an idea?

Very nice presentation, Sir Lex. I sure used to believe that the fear of God is only about respect and reverence and only the unbelievers are ought to be afraid and dread before Him. Man, how foolish that was. But after all this, I realized that there's no exemption to how the Bible teaches how to fear God. In fact as believers we should fear God more than anybody else. Blessings to you, Sir!

So do you old testament mosaic law to the absolute t and kudos to you if you are able to do so that is beautiful however if you don't but choose to proclaim this is what we are suppose to live by you would be like the Hebrews Yeshua himself rebuke in Matthew 23. According to scripture we as followers of Messiah we are not confined to the law that was given unto the Hebrews back which is also considered the curse of the law. The old covenant law only compass the hebrews of that time who were Gods chosen and who he wanted to be unlike the other nations, while the new covenant encompasses everyone all man of any creed who claims the savior as Lord and God. Romans 10 4: 9 and Hebrews 8: 7 expounds on this understanding and I would suggest you read the full chapter to understand the context as well. May Elohim bless you!

In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus Christ states to pray that yoyr flught not be in Winter or on the SABBATH DAY!! IF YOU ARE A TRUE CHRISTIAN,,,,EXPLAIN WHAT PART OF LAW IS SO HARD FOR YOU TO FOLLOW!? @@ramonortiz7462 this is why context is needed. I gave multiple text however you choose to poke fun and give one scripture without the proper context nor did you answer my question. Yes law is eternal however it has been done away and fulfilled Romans 10:4 &
Ephesians 2:15. The Messiah came to do so see Matthew 5:17. Now see if you did follow the old covenant "Law" do you sacrifice animals daily as a reminder of human sin? If so why when Christ payed it all from his sacrifice? Hebrews 10... We can have healthy dialogue as believers without the add non sense and your pride talking right? Like I said before the Old law was for the Hebrews under Elohim at the time and now the New Law encompasses both Jew and Gentile, all and any man that wants to claim Yah and Yeshua as the true and living God.
P.S like scripture says in 1 John 4:1 test and check if im wrong or not. God bless man...

@@biggahkai Sounds like somebody doesn't know the ENTIRE BIBLE!!? IN EZEKIEL CHAPTER 40 IT CLEARLY DESCRIBES ANIMAL SACRIFICES DURING MILLENNIAL REIN!! EZEKIEL 43:18-46..!! ISAIAH 56:6-8..!! Zechariah 14:16 and JEREMIAH 33:15-18..!! All refrence that animal sacrifice will resume in millennial rein!! You clearly disregard the MASTER'S VOICE I.E. YESHUA HAMASHIACHE AKA JESUS CHRIST WHO STATES THE LAW WILL NOT PASS!! WHAT YOU REFRENCE MAINLY FROM PAUL AND AN ASSIMILATED PETER WERE MEN TRYING TO CHRISTIAN-IZE MANY MANY GENTILE NATIONS WHO WOULDN'T BE AS WILLING TO GIVE UP PORK OR GET CIRCUMCISED TO BECOME CHRISTIANS SO PAUL MADE IT EASIER FOR THEM AND IS EASY TO SEE AND UNDERSTAND!! BY THE WAY WHEN I REFRENCE TJE LAW I MAINLY REFRENCE THE 10 COMMANDMENTS AND THINGS GOD SAID WERE PERPETUAL ABOMINATIONS LIKE CONSUMING BLOOD OR EATING SWINE!! DO YOU KNOW WHO GOD IS?? DO YOU KNOW WHAT PERPETUAL MEANS!!? YESHUA HAMASHIACHE CAME TO DEFEAT SIN SO TJAT WE COULD BE SAVED I.E. THE GENTILES!! JESUS CHRIST DID NOT COME TO ALTER THE LAW OF ISRAEL I.E. GODS PEOPLE BUT TO MAKE IT AVAILABLE TO US AND IS WHY THE JEWS WILL REINSTITUTE THE ANIMAL SACRIFICE IN MILLENNIAL REIN,,,,,NOT US BUT THE LEVITE PRIEST. TRY READING OLD TESTAMENT AS FAILING TO DO SO RESULTS IN YOU NOT KNOWING WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT AND COULD EASILY BE MADE TO LOOK FOOLISH IN DEBATE AGAINST EVEN AN ATHEIST WHO MANY KNOW THE BIBLE BETTER THAN MOST CHRISTIANS! @@ramonortiz7462 Christianity and new covenant
      Matthew 22:36-40
In this passage, Yeshua quoted the Shema: Shema, Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad, which is:
“Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is One” (Deuteronomy 6:4).
This is the cornerstone of Jewish faith! Yeshua quoted from the Torah and in doing so affirmed the commandments.
Yeshua brought the promised new covenant to the House of Israel.
He did not bring a new religion known as Christianity. In fact, there was no religion known as Christianity until much later in Antioch when His disciples became known as Christians.
Christ-followers were Messiah-followers, whether Jewish or Gentile. That is how the term Jewish Christianity came to describe Jewish Believers in Yeshua and the new covenant He brought.

Thanks Lex. In todays churches there seems to be a movement going on to water down and teach more about love. There is nothing wrong about that teaching, but it must be combined with this type of messages which it the truth that is vital to peoples walk in their faith. Thank you for standing strong in teaching both or the whole of Gods word brother.

No one ever was made righteous by the law. No one.
    Only faith alone.
Those who live in the law are judged by the law and even 1 fault demises all of their efforts.
Thats why we are saved through FAITH alone.
You can not earn your way into heaven.
