YES YES YES! My Dad told me the reason he whooped us was because he knew my Mom was crazy and would kill our bad asses! I mean we were bad ass kids. We never disrespected our parents intentionally because we knew better, but one day we were too rowdy on the way home. We were living in the Netherlands at that time, and we were acting up and my mom stopped pulled the strap of her purse out and commenced to embarrassing us on the street as dutch people was driving past! We never acted up after that!

His Mom probably has a beautiful name and actually now if I'm right, his mom's name would be romanized to geum. And many Korean girls have that in their name. Like geumhwa meaning golden flower or geumja golden child, geumok, golden jewel, so hopefully he takes the time to ask. Because Korean names have very pretty meaning. My Korean name is minjeong, meaning clever and upright.

My cousin is Korean and has a PhD. So his mom is right.
I definitely have seen asian children misbehave where I live. When I go shopping, I see alot of kids (not just asian) screaming, running around the shop and grabbing stuff out off the carts and throwing it on the floor.
Its unfortunately the same for alot of children nowadays. If I even raised my voice when out with my parents, I got a smack or got my toys taken away. The last time I saw a parent discipline a child the way I use to be was when I was on holiday in Japan 5 years ago.

hmm as korean, I can't think of any korean female name, as 'kum'(검). Typically we have 2 syllable for the first name. Also it must be old romanization rule. So, even if her first name is just 검, it should be written Geom with modern rule.
My guess is it's 금, which is typically spelled as "Keum". High chance she didn't know how to spell it in the typical way, and also not know what "cum" means. (He explaining that his mom doesn't know the meaning, as I'm writing this hahaha)

not only asian kids, ive been to asia, aside from the motorcycletaxidriver in vietnam which started a fistfight whos gonna drive us, and a boarder control to vietnam which only wanted to give us back the passports by paying dont know how much he wanted 50 dollars as far as i remember, nobody acted wrong in any way actually.... some were a bit too motivated getting a deal with us but none was disrespecting actually....but thats been 20 years now, thailand laos vietnam, been back to thailand a few years ago same same but different, no didnt change that much actually
