@@Lukeovision Oh, I have so many thoughts about it, please try to read it (English isn't my native language, hope it'll be OK): I don't think the video about it is necessary. People always logically take it wrong. It's just mathematical statistics for fun and no more, it doesn't show is the song good or bad (this title of the video is a bit clickbait, to be fair, of course, I like all those songs), it shows how is the song offensive for someone of not (for example, so many people don't agree with Conchita, Netta and Jamala's win, others see any aggression from Hatari and are angry about Serhat's qualification, Armenians and Azerbaijani always dislike each other and etc). But it's all about the video about Finals, but I think it would be interesting to react to the same video about semi finals (which has a lot less views, unfortunately), these statistics are a bit more fair (but I still like the most of those trashy songs). And it's always interesting to remember some unpopular songs.
2015 had the problem of a bloated Grand Final (27 instead of 26 contestants) while only 39 countries were able to vote. The chance of getting points were extremely slim. And besides the Top 10 almost noone got good points. It was a shame that both Austria and Germany were robbed of points. Btw, Luke, if you read this: There is an amazing video out there about all Eurovision songs that were rejected/repleaced or disqualified. There are some amazing songs that would've been great on a Eurovision stage (such as Romania 2016 and Ukraine 2019). Check it out, I think it'll be a blast for Flashback friday! Greetings from Germany! P.S. Friday the 13th is pretty fitting date for a video about entries with 0 points ;D
I would like to thank you Luke and all the TH-cam Eurovision community for the joy you’ve been bringing me during these last few days that have been quite uneasy for me due to my Covid-19 convalescence. Keep up the good work!

I'm just going to clarify that both 1978 and 1981 were MASSIVE hits in Norway and 1978 was also a huge it in a number of other countries as well. Especially Sweden. You see they had thought it was impossible to get 0 points with the new system until then so Norway was a sensation and everybody wanted to listen to the song that got 0 points. It's a pretty good song too. You should see the entire thing.
Re: Kobi check out Alexandrumic's video on disapointing entries - he offers up evidence Kobi's was faking the ugly crying it's possible the juries knew it and marked accordingly.
Some of these were bad, but a lot of these didn't deserve 0 points. Maybe some was too cheese, bad styling/staging, choreografy, bad vocals unfortunately, suffering from too many good ones to vote for that year, and then someone just didn't get the votes or whatever the reasons may be. You picked 3 so let me give my top 3 as well: 1. Austria 2015(maybe it's a bit boring to some/didn't stand out enough, but I just think it's really good, raw, Just love it. ) 2. Austria 2017(maybe it's a little cheesy, and some performances were just stronger, but it's such a sweet feel good song and cute performance) 3. Austria 1991(It might be cheesy or a bit boring to some or his styling might be a bit off; I think it's okay, but I really like the song.)
Norway 1981 deserved points was well known. Finland was fun, but misunderstood. Turkey would have benefited from a televoting back then. Norway 1997 so much fun! Germany 2015 deserved far more points.Nathan Trent, the performance was not strong or instant enough for televoters. Paenda, loved this. Israel 2019 was lovely deserved some points S!sters is brilliant, the national final performance was far better.
1978: Jahn decided to make a bad performance on purpose. Luckily, the people in Norway had a sense of humor about it and laughed it off. Jahn was even allowed to represent his country twice more and did much better then. 1981: Just boring. 1982: It is a very misunderstood entry, since people in Europe didn't understand the lyrics. 1983: Spain's entry was an example of Flamenco music, which the jurors of the time didn't understand. Turkey's entry was just a mess, and it was even worse live in Munich. 1987: Again, Turkey gave us a mess of an entry. :( 1988, 1989, 1991 and 1994: All of these just lacked something, but I don't think that they were terrible. 1997: I will never get why Norway flopped so badly. Portugal's entry was boring though. 1998: Again, just boring. 2003: Ouch. :( 2004: Not bad at all :/ 2009: Ouch. :( 2015: Why did no one vote for Austria? Germany was rather bad, however.

Black smoke is the most unfair 0 points and last position of eurovision history
Black Smoke is an absolute masterpiece. For sure my favorite German entry from the last few years...
10:50 I'm sorry, ZERO POINTS.
Poor Germany.
How Germany got 0 points of 2015 😕
Germany 2015 was absolutely robbed. I had it in my top 10

That's what I thought too - perfect day for it haha
The Makemakes deserving so much more is 100% the hill I'm willing to die on.
They were SO GOOD
I LOVE Spain 1983 - That is real Flamenco!

Czech Republic receiving 0 points in 2016 broke my heart. It was my winner that year.
Black Smoke was in my top 10! I was so disappointed when it got 0 points😭
And also, i love that shirt! 😍
I love these Flashback Fridays. Great reactions. I love many of the 'nil point entries. If I should pick one, it must be Austria 2015.
Germany 2015 and Czech Republic 2016 deserved much more...://
I LOVE Mil Etter Mil. That note is so campy and fun, makes me smile every time.

I know Black smoke, I stand and Running on air will pop up :( they were all three in my top 5 of their respective year 😅
Norway 1978 is ICONIC. Honestly though, if the song hadn't gotten 0 points it would never have gotten as massive as it did.
I still listen to black smoke and Israel 2019.
germany 2015 and austria 2017 didn't deserve only 0 points.....
tbh sisters were also amazing
When I was a child I really loved Spain -83. Didn't know it got zero points, though.
Carola was never my cup of tea
Turkey 1987 was a great song and the most energetic performance at the stage. So sad

UK 2003, best 0 Points Song ever ! I think was good Winner Song ,but at End 0 Points!😭 Also good Song's Iceland 2018 and Germany 2019!
love from Turkey and really thank you! 😍😍😘😘🇹🇷

So many good songs, my fav Austria 2015 which should have been top 10

#justice4Nathan Trent and this year Jeangru McCroy and Aldi au veit.
The Spanish one from 1983 is very interesting to watch!
Black Smoke is one of my favourite songs. Definitely did not deserve the 0. I also like Sisters, did not understand the hate it got.
I'm with you on Austria.
Black Smoke is so robbed! 😭
Who else love Spain 1983
Love Lithuania 1994. Am I biased?

Can I just say that Jahn Teigen had 16 entries in MGP. 16! 3 of them were in 1976.. he got 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place that year.

They're my personal winner of 2003 😂

Hä? Israel in 2019 has recived jury points.
No they didn’t. Because Belarus did a stupid mistake and revealed the points for their worst songs... so they corrected it and they got 0 jury points
NO....They didn’t....Actually Belarus 12 points is goes to Malta...that is mistake give 12 points to Israel...
One word, Belarus.
