@@TopHomeowner The places I was considering putting it would be either on the ceiling or horizontally on a wall of an enclosed patio. Based on your info, I now know in advance that this won't work. Saved me a bunch of frustration. Thanks! 👍
It's made of hard plastic. It's pretty sturdy, but I'm not sure how well it would hold up over time in your area, especially if it's in constant direct sun.
Can it connect with doorbell? I am planning on buy a set but I am not sure if I need to replace my doorbell with Eufy doorbell. Also you mentioned Alexa and Google Assistant, that means no Siri or HomeKit?
It says 1200 lumens at full brightness and there isn't a watt equivalent listed. I found a website that says 1100 lumens is generally equivalent to a 75 watt bulb. Hope that helps!
@pearlperlitavenegas3005 Gotcha... on the back it says 25W max. It would be better if it gave a rating for average energy draw (camera only) too, but that's not listed.
What brand screwdriver are you using in the video? It appears to be a precision type that is also a ratcheting screwdriver. I have been looking for such a screwdriver for ever...
It's all in the setup process in the app and it's just like adding anything else to your network. Pick your network from a list of Wi-Fi names it can see, and enter the password. I didn't show that because everyone would know my password!
Can this be installed horizontal?
The camera is angled down and won't rotate so if you installed it that way the video would be useless unfortunately

Is it made of hard plastic or aluminum? Do you think will it stand desert temperature? Ty

Hi does Eufy s100 video record save to homebase harddrive? mine shows 4GB but my home base is 500GB thanks

Great review….What are the dimensions? Amazon says length is 4.3” but it looks longer than that?
The base is about 4.3". I just measured the height and it's 16" tall. The light width is around 3.5". Hope this helps!
can it record 24/7?
I purchased a house that doesn't have a light at the front door. How difficult is the installation going to be for me?
You'd have to pull wire to the location so I would recommend contacting an electrician for an estimate (or two)
@@TopHomeowner
Thank you, I will.
This is can wire directly to 240v, planned to buy for my home In India, I need to get adapter or transformer!? Spec show 110 to 240 standard?
Can this motion sensor event be used to control other lights through Alexa?
How many watts?is it all full brightness

@@TopHomeowner I'm wanting to know how many watts of energy its using (cost to run)not output equivalent.

Can this camera been used in homebridge or Hoobs?
I know there's a eufy plugin but I don't know about support for this specific device

This is the one I have: www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-13in1-Double-Drive-Screwdriver/1001451744
So once installed does your light switch inside the house need to stay on or can that also still control the basic light function?
Yes, the switch needs to stay on. They light is controlled by either motion detection, setting a schedule, or turning it on/off in the app
Does it have motion sensor for the light? We are off grid and need low kWh/day
Yes, the light has a motion sensor and you can disable the light completely as well
Correction the USB will only power the camera NOT the light for Wifi setup only🤦🏻♂️
He forgot to show how to set it up to your Wi-Fi
