2 tips for you from my time with the mobile version
1. The first time you used the wormhole generator, you jumped to a black hole within normal travelling range, complete waste. If you had zoomed out, you could have seen more black holes.
2. Some technologies will receive a bonus if you build them adjacent to something else which does the same thing. The subspace reactor and the space folder for example. (I have a feeling that the wormhole generator should be put next to the telescope) so always try to keep that in mind while planning your ship layouts in future
As far as I know from the mobile version you mostly get Omega based on the ship you use (they identify you as their god / feared tyrant / etc)
I find it strange that the gas giants, which form farther from the sun, are usually closer than planets with life, which need to be closer to the star.
actually, many solar systems have supermasssive gas giants extremely close to the sun. Our solar system is a bit of an oddity in that sense.
Your luck with the alien life is a sign. You are from Elysium, after all.

Very Punny.
An interesting mechanic in a game like this that I would find very interesting is weight. Say your ship has a weight limit but you can carry more than that limit, it just costs more fuel or there is some form of penalty, almost like skyrim how in theory you can carry infinite items, but after going over your weight limit you move very slowly.
This looks like a really interesting game, and the survival aspect intrigues me. Can't wait to see more!

You should've put the Subspace Reactor next to the space folder because then you will receive a power bonus.

i live this game! i played the hell outa the mobile version and you are doing quite well considering you havent exploited module combos.
I’m pretty sure you can only find gold on planets with oxygen. I’ve never found it on any other planet

Did I miss something? I don't think there was anywhere that told you the ship couldn't run on helium...
It's a shame the game has the artificial interface constraints it does. It's a game about resource management-why the frig do you make it needlessly difficult to manage resources?
The Wormhole Drive is a bit underwhelming, what with the Omega cost...
It says next to the slot where you have to insert the needed resources; the old ships had "H" and "He", this one "H" and "O", of which the latter also resembles EE's reaction when he saw it.

When he swapped ships, the fuel sources changed

Timothy McLean Not directly, but he had the option to switch back. So, you could board the ship, see which kind of fuel it uses, then switch back if you don't like it. Without transfering resources for the first switch, of course.
