I put the lifetime string on there and haven't had issues since. I do agree it's frustrating that it's a problem (and one that shouldn't exist to begin with), but I haven't found another volume pedal that I enjoyed the sweep of nearly as much.
I just got back from rock climbing and partying with total strangers on the James River and here's this filling my Bose speakers with serenity! Really love how this is layered and balanced. 🇪🇽🇨🇪🇱🇱🇪🇳🇹 🇨🇷🇪🇦🇹🇮🇴🇳! 😷👍

Every time I watch one of your vids I feel guilty that I don’t use the looper on my el Capistan......any suggestions for videos that demonstrate best how to use it?
since it's in looping mode i was gonna stop recording for a second while i disengaged the dark world but i decided to just turn the volume pedal down instead

nah but the best tip i have is to make sure the pedal is in buffered bypass (which it isn't by default) so you can play on top of the loop
