Funny, I noticed you mention recording movie audio, even in other videos. I used to do the same when I was a kid (starting with the first star wars) by putting the tape player against the tv speaker. I think i found my recordings of ghostbusters on cassette in a box. I didn't buy soundtracks until i was a little older, got the james bond themes and rocky first.
I work from home as well, and I take a lot of phone calls (power/gas faults dispatch), and I got sick of using a headset and started using speaker/mic setup. Never looked back.
The Digital Life mic wasn't bad; it had one big advantage over all the others, and that was it's very handy mic volume control... 😁 The Retekess TR602 is a very neat little device; nice small form factor, but with a pretty big sound! Like it! 👍🏻
On my tablet the Tonor sounded best. On my desktop the Logitech Webcam Moc is loudest, Snowball and Tonor were quieter, Digital Life sounded a bit hollow. The better sound from the start of the video returned when you discussed the radios.
The Blue snowball mic was the best for clarity, but worst for volume. The DigitalLife mic is only slightly below the Blue in clarity, and is tied with the Tonor mic for best volume. So I am rating the DigitalLufe mic the winner here. And I like the fact it is relatively small and easy to set out of sight of the camera's lense.
As much as you and I both wish for AM as well as FM on these modern radios, I'm certain that the AM band is in its death throws and will likely disappear completely by 2025--at least here in the USA.

Tonor sounds the best overall. The hockey puck sounded good and clear when you cranked up the gain.
Yes clear and sound is better than previous 2 mics. Especialy whem you increase mic volume.looks like a winner

Try McD's coffee for a Keurig. It is awesome as well (and when all of us are home and we make a pot of coffee we use bags of the McD's coffee).
The Logitech was the loudest of the lot. All the others were muffled, or you had the mic volume too low.

The Logitech mic was the best overall for volume, but it's sound was too shrill and disjointed. It was just short of doing a self-echo.

Thanks for the samples. Now I know that I will not buy the DigitalLife microphone even if it looks fine. I will continue using my Sennheiser ME64. ;-)
