I love how the va of her mom speaks in a straight Japanese accent, then suddenly turns British when she say's Carol-chan.
Think the VA is a native English speaker but also fluent in Japanese. Saw some comments pointing out intentional mispronunciations, found that interesting.

Her mom sounds a bit different than everyone else. Like I can recognize the individual words she's using more, which is a prevalent trait in English. If her VA isn't a native English speaker, she's doing a good job impersonating one's accent.
I like that Carol's Mom realizes Misuzu is a good girl once she TRIES to act bad.
Misuzu - "A chance to mess with her!"
Mommachan - "Oh, you just enjoy messing with people. That's cute!"

Her mom was a waitress at her grandparents cafe, her dad assumed since she was a waitress she was legally old enough to work and she uh.... didn't correct him until later. She was old enough to work, at a family business.
If it's any consolation here dad is only 3 years older than her mom. He too was too young.

I believe the mom's VA is Japanese and Carol's VA is Hawaiian and raised speaking both fluently.
