Protect your energy. I've been doing a short Violet Flame meditation for physical & emotional reasons,& it is a miracle. I do self-Reiki everyday as well, if you can do something to replenish that energy & let go of ANYTHING that no longer serves, that's helpful, if not, look at what can be done to build skills, emotional literacy, make sure after you learn the red flags of NPD, etc that you leave that behind, it's easy to get stuck in the healing cycle of energy vampires. Take steps to cut them ALL out & refocus. On the Body Language Guy's YT, he has how to gaslight someone (obviously who is trying to get supply) & those 3 things are a great way to handle vampires. It's OK to feel however you feel, or need, but I understand what you meant. I so very drawn to this comment, for multiple reasons. In short: I have always experienced this and keep choosing to have this experience, whether it's familial bonds or romantic ones. Regardless,I always find I CAN NOT be myself around those "deep bonds". I chose to stay to SEE the bond they see, but sometimes, every time.... narcissists will be drawn to us. They will have a connection with us. It doesn't mean we have one with them. And although even they know they will never find someone who loves them as we do, despite the way we are treated by them....does not mean we have to keep sacrificing ourselves and our souls for them.

You work on being you, and throw out anyone who tries to sabotage your growth into being who you want to be. You don't have to mean about it, but learning to only surround yourself with people who are worthwhile is a spiritual lesson too. To be able to walk away from toxic people and situations despite supposed loyalty or blood ties is hard, but you will triumph spiritually. It is hard with brothers and sisters whom you love deeply (or anyone else), but their lesson is that people will not tolerate their abuse, which then makes them better if they learn from the situation. You are the sum of your choices in this life, and they are the sum of their choices. Listen to your soul, and do what it says, live with grace and intention, and love yourself. Does this help? I so very drawn to this comment, for multiple reasons. In short: I have always experienced this and keep choosing to have this experience, whether it's familial bonds or romantic ones. Regardless,I always find I CAN NOT be myself around those "deep bonds". I chose to stay to SEE the bond they see, but sometimes, every time.... narcissists will be drawn to us. They will have a connection with us. It doesn't mean we have one with them. And although even they know they will never find someone who loves them as we do, despite the way we are treated by them....does not mean we have to keep sacrificing ourselves and our souls for them.

You work on being you, and throw out anyone who tries to sabotage your growth into being who you want to be. You don't have to mean about it, but learning to only surround yourself with people who are worthwhile is a spiritual lesson too. To be able to walk away from toxic people and situations despite supposed loyalty or blood ties is hard, but you will triumph spiritually. It is hard with brothers and sisters whom you love deeply (or anyone else), but their lesson is that people will not tolerate their abuse, which then makes them better if they learn from the situation. You are the sum of your choices in this life, and they are the sum of their choices. Listen to your soul, and do what it says, live with grace and intention, and love yourself. Does this help?
