It's been years but this is still my favorite 3 minecraft episodes. I put it on like how people put on the office in the background. It's also great for listening to when I can't sleep. The sound of conversation is great to sleep to.
Well, that was probably because most people missed the Gavin death that bumped it to #4. Since they messed up the count, the editor probably just said "Fuck it" and went with what was being said instead of the actual count. Really, the count should have been two more than it was, because of the Gavin lava death at the beginning. Unless you're being sensible and using an engineering scale, that is.

I don't understand people complaining about them "running out of ideas" or "just doing a big let's build." Why do you any of you care at all what they're doing? No matter what they do it's still them being drunk assholes to each other and making the same jokes. It's funny because of them, and it'll always be funny as long as it's them.

I loved this Lets Play, just because of how chill and relaxing it was. There wasn't a whole lot of screaming or crazy things going on, it was a very cool video where both lads and gents played and had fun:) I'm in a chill mood and this video just made my night! Reminds me of Hit List i believe, because that was a chill lets play too:) thanks AH, really enjoy these kinds of LPs!

Kevin Petty yes:) It's really fun to just sit back and play minecraft when you're not competing against each other and when you don't have to really...be put under pressure by a time limit of objective to win for a whole week, you can just sit back and play. IN a recent lets build Geoff even mentioned that he sat down with Millie and played Minecraft for the first time (actually just playing it) and it was really fun. :) sometimes you forget how much fun the game is when you're too busy building and competing :)
you know, with Goeff's house so big, they should make a maze inside that goes from down to up, with the final level being the tower of pimps. If only i had an xbox i'd gladly make them a maze~

This is quickly becoming one of my favourite Let's Plays. Them just being chill and playing Minecraft - The Game, instead of some giant challenge, is really enjoyable. Just the lads having a lovely little time.
But that's Minecraft! It's coming up with a project or a build to do, and mining the supplies to make it. Their project just happens to be a giant square. But what they're doing, in my opinion, is the heart and soul of Minecraft.
Let's Play Minecraft Episode 3: "Let's blow up a whole city!" Let's Play Minecraft Episode 81: "Let's mine 15,000 cobblestone!" XD I mean, the episodes are still entertaining as always, but the video's basis certainly says another story.
What Ryan said at 12:36, "Can we have a sign that says, you know, 'X days without injury'?" gave me a great idea for a Let's Play. It would be like " ___ Days without Injury" where the guys all try their best not to get injured in the slightest. Those that do get the job of going out and trying to injure the other people that haven't been injured yet. It'd probably take some good ol' Geoff magic to make it work and not take 50 hours to do, but it might be an interesting thing.
also, to add to HeartoCourage2's point, this is probably only a fraction of their time, most of their time is editing, and watching import, export and uploading screens whilst trying to think of a new idea that is different form the other 2,000 videos they've already made

They didn't run out of ideas, this was filmed before even king Michael, which was like 15 episodes ago. The guys are probably just taking a Christmas vacation to spend with their families and releasing some of the content they had saved up.

While they're still talking about the same thing which would make it unlikely that there was a huge cut...
this is one of my all time favorite let's plays. it's the perfect blend of casual conversation and on screen action. little competition, lots of laughs. I wish they did more of these (and with less sad connotation-looking at you, flip that house.)

People keep complaining but really, wouldn't collecting materials and building structures count as PLAYING Minecraft? In Let's Builds Geoff and Gav are using creative mode to be fast, but in this case they are all working together to efficiently build a large structure by playing the game as it was originally intended...
My anxiety and ptsd has been pretty bad over the past 3 or 4 months, and every night, whilst I'm trying to sleep, I have put this video on. I really don't get why anybody is mad or disappointed about this. Is it cause they aren't competing? It's still them, it's still Minecraft, and Let's Build is them building Let's Plays. Brats.
i actually liked it a lot. One because it reminds me of their first few lets plays where it was just them trying to survive and build shit, and two because its like a lets play... only with everyone instead of just geoff gavin, the occasional ryan, and the rare jack micheal or ray. I tend to like these kind of lets plays, and the adventure ones (where they go to find a stronghold, or tame horses) alot more then just the competitions.
This will be buried but... This is exactly what Geoff and Gav have wanted forever, to make the rest of the lads and gents suffer the pain and frustration of building everything. Let's enjoy the slow spiral into insanity we are about to witness in Jack, Michael, and Ray.
Ray having the hard hat idea being a golden helmet makes me stupidly sad; now that they used that exact idea when taking down his house and making Jeremy's.

All I see these days is people highlighting this trilogy as their favorite episodes. I was quite happy with this episode when it came out what... 8 years ago now? Hot dayum. The death counter was off by one. Didn't watch it all the way through, but saw when Ryan died at 28:13, it didn't count it. Think it would have been better with a timer and death count labeled "Time Without an Incident" or something along those lines along with a death counter next to it, but it was still nice and a good idea to put in the death counter =)
So the prospect at the beginning of the show is that they all have to each, if equally done, lay out 2,625(really 2,624.666666~ blocks, but let's round up), which means each one has to put down 41 stacks of stone. This information is brought to you years after the fact for no discernible reason.

this is one of my all time favorite let's plays. it's the perfect blend of casual conversation and on screen action. little competition, lots of laughs. I wish they did more of these (and with less sad connotation-looking at you, flip that house.)

People keep complaining but really, wouldn't collecting materials and building structures count as PLAYING Minecraft? In Let's Builds Geoff and Gav are using creative mode to be fast, but in this case they are all working together to efficiently build a large structure by playing the game as it was originally intended...

I really don't get why anybody is mad or disappointed about this. Is it cause they aren't competing? It's still them, it's still Minecraft, and Let's Build is them building Let's Plays. Brats.
i actually liked it a lot. One because it reminds me of their first few lets plays where it was just them trying to survive and build shit, and two because its like a lets play... only with everyone instead of just geoff gavin, the occasional ryan, and the rare jack micheal or ray.
I tend to like these kind of lets plays, and the adventure ones (where they go to find a stronghold, or tame horses) alot more then just the competitions.
This will be buried but... This is exactly what Geoff and Gav have wanted forever, to make the rest of the lads and gents suffer the pain and frustration of building everything. Let's enjoy the slow spiral into insanity we are about to witness in Jack, Michael, and Ray.
I was gonna ask "what about Ryan" but he's decended into insanity a while ago.

I don't think that math's right. They recorded for an hourish, which means 60 (minutes) * 6 (files of footage) = 360 minutes brought down to 35.
Wow whats with everyone bitching, This isn't the first time that they've done one like this. So what they're not playing a game or going against eachother? Watching them sit back and relax, have fun and make jokes as usual is still entertaining. And they recorded this atleast a month or two back, so they haven't ran out of ideas.

I REALLY hope that when Xbox One Minecraft comes out, they just have a giant Let's Build with Geoff, Jack, Ryan, Ray, Michael, Gavin, Caleb, Kerry, and Lindsay and they all help make the new Achievement City.

The death counter was off by one. Didn't watch it all the way through, but saw when Ryan died at 28:13, it didn't count it.
Think it would have been better with a timer and death count labeled "Time Without an Incident" or something along those lines along with a death counter next to it, but it was still nice and a good idea to put in the death counter =)
