It is one of the nicest, sweetest and best choreographies I have seen. And even though we are 13 years after the performance.... I still would like to make a deep bow for the girls.... it was an A+ (or as we say in Holland a 10 out of 10) show you all put down there!
The original Composer was Mihkhis Theodarakhis,for the film Zorba the Greek. Thereafter several people copied this partly and even totally,to create Albums of their own but Credit should be given to the Original Composer. In any case the performance by these girls is fantastic.

EXCELLENT! This was great fun to watch! Quite an original and superbly done performance ! For a tap dancing presentation, this was off-the-charts brilliant! BRAVO ! ! !
These little girls are so convincing that for a while I thought they were Greeks. Congratulations for their excellent skills, dynamism, and synchronicity. They sure worked a lot to achieve this high quality of stage performance. Their enthusiasm is catchy. And, of course, congratulations to their choreographer, teacher, and parents as well. For without them these girls would had just stayed at home, with many among them gotten fat by playing video games instead. Cheers.

I wanted my granddaughter to take a dance class. By the time of instruction, gear, costumes and shoes I'm very happy I hadn't said anything to her. She went to arts & crafts class and enjoyed it a lot.
My tap dance last year didn’t have any words and I thought it was really hard. These girls did amazing and clogging to which is way harder than Tap to a longer song than we did. Amazing good job girls!

As a Greek, there are very few things that make me prouder than such videos!!! Absolutely amazing… there are even screaming OPA and braking plates (we do not do that any more) Absolutely wonderful. I read about Greece when I was a child, I remember this saying in Arabic because it was very impressive :" Greece, though it fell captive but it had captivated its invaders and showed rural Italy what is art and what is Music"
What you heard was a paraphrase of Horatio: Graecia capta ferum victorem cepit et artes intulit agresti Latio. Greece, the captive, made her savage victor captive, and brought the arts into rustic Latium. Latium being Rome in old Latin.

The girls were having such a good time, and were so full of energy and so well rehearsed and choreographed that their performance is a non-stop joy. They are all grown up now; I am sure this must provide them a very happy memory. I would love to know which group or dance-school they belonged to. Anyone know?
When I've watched the original Zorba which is one of my most favourite pieces of music, the steps seem kind of out of time with the tempo of the music. This version definitely adds a little extra to it and fits the music more dynamically. Amazing choreography and dancing. This was in Canada but does any one know the nationality of the dance troupe and it's name?
