Also worth noting no non RNG product has really done that well initially. DUDE was an insane product that literally have you every good card in the game and somehow failed. It sat on shelves clearance for $20 meanwhile individual cards from it toppled $50 cumulative value.
Yugioh needs a product like Magic and Pokemon's elite trainer/ theme boxes. 8-10 boosters, a handful of foil promo cards, a collection of acrylic counters and foil tokens, maybe a field center and some card sleeves, with a unique promo card that the whole box is themed around. Like a Dark Magician box that has a Prismatic Gold Rare Dark Magician, boosters of Magician's Force, Dark Illusion, Magical Heroes or a new set unique to this box, with a foil Skilled Dark Magician and a set of spell counters and magical hat tokens and a Yugi field center. That shit could be $50 and it would sell out immediately
I really miss that box they did for Starter Deck Joey/Pegasus, where you get a card box with a handle, sleeves, the deck and some booster packs. I was so excited to get that as a kid. They sadly don't make products like that anymore... Hell, they don't even do the Legendary Decks product anymore(with the exception of a reprint) I picked this up when it was new. Thought it looked awesome, despite the price tag. I remember Japan got products like this, and when we finally got our own, I thought we would get more like this... Sadly, it flopped. You're not alone, I also liked the Platinum rarity.
This has always been my favorite release from Konami. I remember my grandparents getting it for me during Christmas. I would abuse those cards and I love the plat rare it always looked the coolest to me. Holds a special memory for me
The best yugioh product Was the movie booster packs. You watch an anime movie in theatres and you get one of the cards revealed in the movie….. unless you get wattapon
There's a box that the Japanese product they got I wish that we did. It gave you deck boxes (plural), it gave you alt arts of all the dimension dragons. I think it also gave you a mat and like 4 decks. I think the version we got was all of 4 decks and a box or it got turned into a set I can't remember. The Japanese product was definitely better on all counts IMHO.
I think an underrated product they released are the legendary deck boxes. Starting out and getting 3 decks to build upon was part of the reason I got back into the game
My friend we haven’t even gotten a structure deck in a year 🥹🥲 the days of walking into Walmart, spending $36, tossing in some staples from a binder, and spending $15 on TCGplayer to have a viable deck are behind us.
There’s still hope for a new Structure Deck in TCG. Konami has yet to announce this in the TCG but I’d imagine we’ll likely get it because it would be stupid of them not to import this product over (they’d make so much money off of it due to both nostalgia and very good reprints and might be the best selling Structure Deck of all time) but I’m specifically referring to the new Blue-Eyes Structure Deck that’s coming out in the OCG next month
My parents actually got this for Christmas the year this came out ironically enough. I still have a game at and the cards, as well as the deck box. I still love it, plus I’m a fan of King Arthur stuff
Most TCG get DX sets with everything x3 when a new deck is released while the usual deck is the lite version, dunno why konami doesn't do it, it's free money.
I got this for christmas as a kid and I adored it. It:s way even though I quit Yugioh I still build an infernoble knight deck on the side. This boxset means alot to me
I've thought about buying tins or decks every so often, but they honestly don't feel as worth it as they used to. I personally might give in if they did do something like that Noble Knights box, just with Elemental Heroes, but I can't imagine that happening.
There was a rubber play mat, deck box and power up pack? The one I got only came with the platinum cards, card sleeves and a ticket to world championship, I believe all the cards from the power up pack came with it as well

It was like $60 or $65 when I bought it and I got one off fb marketplace for $80 recently they are a good product
That may have depended on the area because I only saw DUDE once at my local Target since they got sold out anywhere within driving distance.
I wont mind if they made something similar to the xtreme suit case with the two starter decks booster packs and a few accessories

yugioh has products equal to or better than the ones you mentioned but are ocg exclusives
2:03 Noble Knight Bed Wetter
110% what I called him, too 😂

Yeah, Konami really needs to bring back draft products.

In the OCG, this product was simply reduced in a Duel Field Set with three Ultra Rare promo cards (not even Secret Rare).
25th anniversary ultimate kaiba set briefcase, Number Complete File Piece of Memories, and the tactical try decks say hi
I would say the best product we got wasn't even cards themselves but the wcs 2011 game
Why is there an ad for plant based milk?

Weird. Everyone I saw for sale, came with the mat, pack and deck box.
Still have it to this day.
I remember sinking some $150 for a playset of the best cards for this stupid "full platinum rarity" deck. 😅
But was it cheaper here or in duel links?
I bought it 😂
They should make a Dark Magician Girl box set that includes a replica of her feet, amrite guys
