The aeon engine into insurrection was BEAUTIFULL.
Also, Andrew, thank you so much for showing a lethal use of Strixheaven Stadium, I love it. I do believe you could have done it a turn before had you used the card as a mana rock on Ian’s end step just to get another counter, but doing it slower probably had people worrying less about you.
The way I dictate directions with Pramikon is Beyonce and McConaughey (To the left, to the left // Alright, alright, alright). Custom tokens with their faces too.
12:08 Kenrith grants trample and haste for just one mana.
After so much bloomburrow and duskmourn it's great to see a variety of decks showcasing more of magic's diversity again. As much as I love uniformity inside a deck, þe more disparate each deck is from its neighbours adds a cobbled charm we adore about edh as a format!
Insurrection: timeless classic!
Pramikon always amaze me. Good video!!!
Micah wins the delicious flavor deck prize as he's playing a READ, WHITE and BLUE color commander... which is a WALL... which had a INSURRECTION with no major consequences and keep on being mostly successful despite no having real board presence.
Game lesson: never make deals with Micah again. 🙃
when maximus first played his master of etherium, wasnt it an 8 count of artifacts? cause of ancient den, darksteel citadel, and the master itself?
Stadium double triggers on hit. First bumps it to 10 and executes Ian. Second adds a counter still.
missed the most important trigger of that combat phase: making 2 2/2 wolf tokens!
I thought the smudge on Ian's playmat was on my screen lol
A Kenrith list that's not a value engine list, what..oh spicy, also Pramikon is a interesting choice for a general
How did Micah get an extra turn? Activating aeon engine reverses turn order so the player that was before him should get the turn next.
Micah went before maximus in the old turn order, meaning that when its reversed, Micah now goes after maximus. This effectively gave him an extra turn
@gdmikester4302 the activation is done during Micah turn. Once the turn is over he still would have to pass to the next player in turn order. You don't pass to yourself ever unless you are taking an extra turn. The player that just had their turn before Micah should be going next not Micah passing to self 😐
The only real, yet ineffective, way to use the aeon engine is to activate it on the player's turn after yours so they will pass the turn back to you.
@@jlbrooks74 Micah literally activated the engine on Max's second main phase at 10:10 in the video. Idk wtf you are on.
@gdmikester4302 😅 on drugs apparently. Listened/watched while stuck in traffic. Thank you for your kind correction 😐😆
duuuuuude i love this pramikon deck i building it
Nice, old school win
Hey Andrew it’s Andy. I’ve fallen out of love with magic. I love the channel and chill commanders! What do you suppose I do?
Maximus is trying to be incognito by calling himself Maxmius, I see you buddy, hide better next time!
Cast insurrection win game lol. People ask why I run counterspells. This is why.
those decklists absolutely don't match the video haha
Fixed! Sorry about that.
I would of nuked out Micah which I guessed he had a trick in his sleeve
Ian sat with 3 mana up for multiple turns after pramikon was played. Why not play your Ghostly Prison??? You let him have free unblocked attacks at you ever turn until you were dead. Terrible play
gotta love an insurrection win!!!!!
