Great to see you all out and about again. We go off grid quite often doing rallies, we've got a AC/DC TV, and as long as you've go a good class A battery and good solar panels you should never have problems. We've just come back from a 3night rally and the battery was at 100% when we parked the caravan up after the rally.
We go off grid all the time but we have solar panels. Those power packs are a great idea. I would suggest getting a 12 volt tv which would run off the van battery and if you use a hair dryer get a travel one which is less watts than a normal one.
£7 per night is extortion. I would rather campsites did pay as you go at least it’s fair, I am on my own so don’t use much electric in my camper, my fridge, electric kettle and a fan heater if it’s chilly. I bought an Allpowers battery last year and have successfully used for several days with solar top ups. The way things are going with electric charges I may be using it a lot more in the future. X

We do have a good, new battery and 100w solar so the power station may have been overkill but it gave me sweet peace of mind
Very brave and glad it worked out well.
Never done it before not sure we will either but interesting to see your set up.All the best to you both x

We two have a 12v tv so have no worries there. As for my hair …. You can so tell I don’t do hairdryers on holiday 😂😂
@@TravellingBox My good lady has short hair but we had to have an inverter so that she could use her Tassimo coffee machine and her hair dryer 😂
You can always use a DC-DC converter to charge it off the car in a pinch
Henlow Bridge Lakes is my and my families favourite campsite by far but £7 per night is really expensive!!
It’s a wonderful campsite so I’m glad I found an alternative way of being able to afford it
What's the cost of the all power pack. And solar panels cost. TIA
I paid £800 for the whole lot

Hi never bin off grid . We stay with caravan club you know what your paying. How much was gas in the end. All confusing these days. X
@@keithalisonpreston9327 we didn’t use much gas at all, I only cooked one meal on gas and used it to boil the kettle when I wanted tea lol
