I never realized how many Jia murdered including innocent children until Ruyi's memorial flags came out. She truly deserves what she received in the end. To have her butt skinned by the Emperor was awesome.
That was Consort Ling, not Consort Jia being revealed of her crimes at the end of the series.
No it was Jia. She killed something like 6 princesses and 7 princes. I think it was 17 or 18 people total with Ruyi's mother being the last by having it made known her books and box were removed causing her heart to give out. She was busted by the Emperor when she tried to insert an forged scroll decreeing her other son to be his main prince. Remember she thought she killed off the girl by putting poison lipstick on her lips. She was saved. All her crimes were revealed and she was forced to drink poison yet his highness gave the antidote this went on for decades until the queen mother pointed out how cruel it was to her son's. So she drank it thinking it was soup then they told her it was poison. I think it was the last episode because he later clipped a piece of his hair and put it next to hers died in his sleep and the bloomless tree sprouted some blooms. It really shocked me watching this show just how truly evil many consorts and enuncs ( not sure on the spelling.) there were. I still am shocked he even forgave her even once. But the stories on Gao, Jia, and Wei (I think it was her who had the aphrodisiac brought in?? ) just amazed me and has gotten me to watch the others.
It was LING that did all that. Re-watch the whole thing. Jia died in her own palace after she was abandoned and her clan king denied she was even part of the clan royalty. Rusia was the one who told her.
When I am wrong I own it. I was. I just rewatched. The hair style is what threw me off and that smirk. How could he not act when Ruyi and others told??? Or the fact so many innocent children died??
@@lisathomass4054 that's the point indeed. The emperor had good counsel from both the dowager and Ruyi and still did everything according to his own suspicious whim. He ain't shit

反而多年後的金馬獎，二人坐上下排，周迅還拍了孫儷肩膀說聲：給婆婆請安。真的俏皮。
角色不需要自己叫囂，觀眾自己有眼睛。
