I always like sharing the story that though I was 9 when I first heard this my mind made up a girl to it. Then in 2002 behold I met Erin C O'dell a hi school girl from NewTown CT. Erin was everything my make believe girl to this song was. Her little boddy her little hands her voice and everything. My creation was real as it were. Of course we can leave race hair and what ever out cause I'm blind. So color wasn't a thing. Though I should have found out what Erin looked like. Though some of my blind friends say leave it be. Who cares what collor hair skin and so on Erin has. Meh just be happy with what you like.
God it was awful!!! Ruined such an amazing song... backup must hit the bottle a little too hard before the performance. If I'm honest even the guitarist didn't do a great job -- the freestyling at 1:30 made it sound like a country song and that's literally my favorite guitar part of the original.
Nice performance even after 23 years a good song will survive
I never could figure what type of music this was..It didn't matter..Shawn kicked ass right here live on this one
Great song with a strong ending.
amazing, bass player is underrated
by some but there are others like us who acknowledge how good the bass is.
stellar
great

To get audio in sync play on VLC +250
Stueart (sp?) Smith on Electric Guit
I would really like to know what pedal the guitarist has, getting a mandolin and 12 string sound, really great sound
He was actually playing Octaves....it was all in the fingers. Steuart is a great guitarist....
No mandolin? Wondering too
Is there mandolin in the recorded version? Anyone?
Is that Jim Bogios from the Counting Crows?
NOPE ........... THAT'S TOMMY ALLAN FROM COUNTING SHEEP.
Ain't this song even though sweet sounding like sugar, is about arson?
those were her pop days, when she does not play her Martins, its all good tho.
THE BACKUP SINGER WAS THE PITS.
the backup singer XD
The sound was not good. But talent wins out.
What the hell is this? Shawn Colvin was great as usual, but seriously that back up singer? Can she at least sing in key?
She's singing in key, it's just a different interpretation than the studio recording.
She a few octaves lower but still in key.

The sound sucks!
gosh... I love Shawn, as much as anybody... but this hair-do
is not doin' her any favors. it's kinda more of a hair-don't.
