I'm sold. Just ordered a full sized a 100 as the minis are currently sold out. As a weekend woodworker I've grown to love a chisel grind on a knife. Being able to lay an edge flat on the primary bevel and get the secondary bevel right where you want it is extremely handy. I'm used to "abusing" my fixed blades but I'm very interested in having a folder that I can use without worry. Love your testing videos, really made me second guess my carrying habits. Thanks for shaking up the EDC community.
I’m jumping on the next drop! Had a large in all black and it was a bit too much. Mini satin looks to be perfect. Thanks for your review! They’re always great!
So I finally picked up a miniA-100. I think I told you that I grabbed a full size a-100 a few weeks ago. I loved it, but passed it on to find something else. I signed up for the mini a-100 email drop a while back, and got a notification they were in stock a few days ago! It just got here today! It’s pretty awesome!
I got 2 mini a-100s that are limited edition, they got some kinda Japanese riding on the clip that is a steel flame clip, I was told it was rare. Also says 50 were made. It also has a right hand chisel edge.
Very well argued and I buy into the whole concept. I particularly liked the toughness/geometry element. Although I have zero experience with this knife, I am put off by the thumb disc. That knife won't say no, but that disc just might. That's the Achilles heel.
Just got my first mini a100… would you recommend a toothy edge or a higher grit edge? (I’ve got Diamond stones from 100-2200 grit on my wicked edge sharpener) keep up the great work!
I don’t get those deep carry clips. I tried it once and the screws under the clip want to tear up my pocket. No one cares if a little pocket knife protrudes.
Had one, horrible. Felt like a couple pieces of 80 grit was used for washers. Poor quality, expensive. My Benchmade 970 CQC7'S I carried in the early/mid 90's, far better quality and less expensive. ZT, doin' Emerson better than Emerson does...

You can take the disk off and use it without or get a small one
Where are the scales from? Did quite catch it in the vid. They are beautiful.

Craig, you clearly never actually owned one

I'd give anything to find one of these knives, without paying 500+
Maybe for 80$. Emerson truly over priced.....I own several!
