This is something I always wanted to try. When my Ga'ma used to make it it was a celebratory occasion or a high day or holiday. The house was filled with the aroma of the dish making us anticipate it with great eagerness. Till today we whisper its name ! I shall try your recipe . I am sure it is authentically Goan. Thank you for the tips on making it 4 days before you need it and for heating it over those 4 days. We just knew it was food for the gods. What we did not know was what a lot of time and love went into the making of this dish.
Check my comment on your previous question and let me know the details.Yes making Goan Sorpotel needs a lot of Patience and work. I'm sure it's a labour of love.
Hello l tried your pork vindaloo and sorpetal, both dishes came out delicious 😋 thanks for sharing your recipes, my family couldn’t wait for Christmas they already started eating🤣 I highly recommend your channel. I watch your channel from Sydney Australia also shared your recipes with friends and family. Thanks again ❤
You're welcome Angeline & Thank you so much for your kind words of appreciation! We have got a very good response for our Pork Sorpotel & Vindaloo recipes. You should also try our Pork Roast, Goan Stew and Beef Roulade recipes they are also very good. Thank you so much for recommending our channel to your friends and family members, it really means a lot to us! Nice to know that you are watching us from Sydney Australia. Stay blessed always 😀
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Yes we have Sannas in the video but unfortunately we haven't yet made the video recipe. We will try and make that video soon 🙂
I wish you had mentioned your name so I could address you properly. Goan milk toffee, is it similar to Goan Milk cream that is made for Christmas. We have the Milk cream recipe on our Channel. Have a look and let me know. Was the color of the Milk Toffee your Grandmother made white or Brown? Because there is one type of Milk Toffee that is brown in Colour.
Joey, please watch the video properly as I have mentioned the cooking time for each step in detail. The Sorpotel can be kept in the refrigerator for a week. Whereas in the freezer it can be stored even for 6 months 🙂
You're welcome Sharon & Yes completely agree with you about the video recipes being easier to understand. Since you can see the steps right in front of your eyes it is easy to make. Do let me know how it turns out 🙂

Very nice recipe - the sorpotel look tempting. I saw some sannas in the thumbnail. Do you have a receipt, if so you can please share the link.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment. Yes we have Sannas in the video but unfortunately we haven't yet made the video recipe. We will try and make that video soon 🙂
Looks delicious.I only use liver along with the pork
Joey, that's exactly what we also use generally, but since we were recording the recipe we also added a small piece of the heart as well 🙂
Your Sorpotel has a grand display. Every piece of meat evenly cut. Just like d little pebbles on d shore.😊
Thank you so much Rose for your wonderful feedback 🙂
Can you do a recipe for Goan milk toffee. My memory was that it was like crumbly fudge not hard toffee! Is there such a thing?
I wish you had mentioned your name so I could address you properly. Goan milk toffee, is it similar to Goan Milk cream that is made for Christmas. We have the Milk cream recipe on our Channel. How long should we cook the Sorpotel and how long can we keep sorpotel in the fridge
Joey, please watch the video properly as I have mentioned the cooking time for each step in detail. The Sorpotel can be kept in the refrigerator for a week. Whereas in the freezer it can be stored even for 6 months 🙂
Is this 1kg of pork/ ratio of mssala!
Joel, we have used 1.6 kg Pork meat and 400 gms of Liver & Heart. So in total We have used 2 kgs. The Masala is made for 2 kg of meat.
Great! Though I make it without the liver& heart! My family doesn't like it
Thank you so much Cynthia 🙂
I am boiling liver and meat together next time ill boil it separately
Odete, Yes try it and see the difference 😀

You're welcome Sharon & Yes completely agree with you about the video recipes being easier to understand. Since you can see the steps right in front of your eyes it is easy to make. Do let me know how it turns out 🙂
