Martyn, you may never read this. But I must say it, your music has inspired me for years brother. I first heard you on Mary Ann Hobbs the Future sound of electronic music. One of my songs got played on there also. But your s*** was amazing brother, and it still is. Many respects from North Carolina.Thank you for sharing.
Ditto! Huge influence and one of my most respected artists all of all time, sickest production skills and continues to make a massive impact on my own music making.
Amazing artist, great story too. I remember buying his early d&b releases then being annoyed my guy in Eastern Bloc told me Martyn's moved onto a slower sound. Heard "Broken" and was blown away then immediately immersed into dubstep. So thanks for that mate! 😏
Nice. Could always hear the DnB influence in Martyn’s music. His sampling is excellent, he’s done well to keep a consistent influence and style across all his songs. Interesting that he also mentions that he uses the same sounds and samples in different ways, must definitely help formulate this consistent sound.
yep..... no blood so everything stopped .... butt fear was gone ,warm, save, feld like home only better..... a knife choppped 3main arteries .... a wonder because I am still here...... super surgen?!!! So yep.... know the feelin...... LIFE is more here and beautifull
Love the videography of the train while he's telling the story of his heart stopping. Thanks for sharing, Martyn.
Yes, that was fantastic. Do you recognise the station by any chance?
Looks like Virginia Square or Ballston in Arlington.
So fascinating Jeroen talking about the shift between thinking and letting go during a DJ set - resonates so strongly.
