Hi, I enjoy your videos. I do have one comment as I own one S7 and when your thread the top part with the automatic threader, I hear you say firmly push down. But in reality, I know that it has to be done gently. The women I bought the machine from showed me that she actually snapped hard on the leaver ...downwards, which caused in damaging. I had to replace that part in order to successfully thread the machine all the time. So gently....and it should laste a long time.
Thanks for the feedback. I said to push down firmly so that the itty bitty hook goes all the way into the eye of the needle. Some people don't push it far enough and then the threader doesn't work. But yes, we should be as gentle as possible with our sewing machines.
It's surprising how many people just thread their machines by hand even though they have an auto threader. Just be careful not to use it for thick threads or with smaller than size 10 needles. The tiny hook can get bent easily.
Hi, I purchased this machine. I noticed that your lock stitch button light is not on. I am not able to turn mine off, which also doesn't let me backstitch certain stitches. Are all stitches able to be backstitch?
Sometimes we have a machine turned off for lighting purposes while filming. Also, some stitiches may only be able to do a lock stitch at the end - like decorative stitiches.
Best threading and bobbin winding tutorial on the web!
Thank you! I just bought this machine and your videos are so helpful!

Well thanks to you, I now know how to actually use the auto threader. LOL

My S7 came with blue bobbin. Do I need to purchase blue ones?
Nope! As long as they are a 15 class bobbin, any color will work!
