I’ve heard a few other versions, but I have to say that this is my favorite
I know it’s meant to be Alen and Conchita, but damnit, I’m stuck thinking of this pair of siblings I came up with for this one.
Basically, the older brother is a sailor/cargo ship dude and he goes missing at sea. Before he disappeared though, he told his little sister all about the many legends of mermaids he’d heard all around the world. To cope with the loss of her brother, the little sister convinces herself that the only reason her brother’s gone is because he fell in love with a beautiful mermaid.
Basically, I can see this as the pair of siblings playing together and, rather than the demon being actual Conchita, it’s basically the temptation of the sea and all of the, “We should get home soon,” is his worried little sister not wanting him to leave.

@@universehopper8032 Thanks! I actually ended up writing a little two page short story about the brother’s death a few months back. Really proud of it tbh. It’s called L’Apple Du Vide, which means, “The call to the void,”

Yeah, the original idea was to sing Allen's part an octave down as I did with Servant, but for some reason it just sounded bizarre when paired with the track.

It was Banica.
When the kids are playing at the beach, they found a purposely-placed box with a mirror containing Banica in it.
this song feels very loosely connected to the story of evil

If you’re not, then yeah it is it’s a prequel to before Rilliane and Allen get separated as children
