I think the most impressive thing about the Heat is that their run hasn’t even been easy - taking out Giannis and the bucks, beating a good New York side, and now 3-0 up against one of the favourites. I love the heat’s approach/mentality so much, makes tanking and being uncompetitive look at stupid as it is!

No I would rather Jokić and Denver when their first championship. Miami franchise has many championships. Denver’s been disrespected for way too long they deserve it more. Jimmy could win the next one
@@Organized_Insanity Bro what are you talking about. If anything it is much more likely for Denver to win one in the future then it would be for Miami. The Nuggets stars are younger the Heats championship window is almost closed. Also you’re acting like the guys from the 2013 Heat are still on the team. Nobody looks back at how many championships a franchise has they look back at which individual players have won championships. Also nobody is disrespecting the nuggets they’re just stating the facts that they haven’t proved they could make it to the Finals until this year
The Heat's story is so good. Every one of their players is there to win. A lot of the guys are showing that they can be great even if they weren't first round picks, and then there's Jimmy Butler who needs his ring. They're the real underdogs the the league.
That closing quote was great, and really puts into perspective how the media and players are biased towards percieved talent, and not the numbers that are being put up night in and night out. Its been the narrative about the Heat for years now. "Their players are playing at a higher level than you expect". No, other organizations just dont expect enough of their role players. Every player on the Miami Heat, and it seems to be the case with the Denver Nuggets as well, has the full confidence of the coaching staff and their teammates. Do what you do, put in 100% effort, and work with the team. Thats all they expect, and as long as you do that, they will let you shine.
i really want to see haslem play for at least 1 minute on the court on his last game, he built the franchise to what it is today and even tho he isnt the greatest anymore. i think it would bring a smile to everyones face.
You know why the Heat are going to sweep the Celtics? Because Jimmy Butler is at this very moment telling the rest of the team that they only have one more opportunity to humiliate the Celtics and that they had damn well better take advantage of it. The Celtics wanted to win last night because they wanted to get to the Finals. Jimmy Butler wanted to win last night because he hates the Celtics. They are in his way, yes, but he despises everyone who isn't on the Heat. That motivation is powerful.

Love and Lowry were both great pickups for their championship experience within schemes that all focus on one primary scorer. They know how to play the roles. But Butler is going to have to go to yet another level to beat the 3rd quarter monsters that are the Nuggets. Jokic really excels against fatigued defenses and he will fatigue them. The real story might be how two dark horse teams from southern Florida have had this cinderella story turn into a legit shot at a championship, and they might just win both.
