I think the most impressive thing about the Heat is that their run hasn’t even been easy - taking out Giannis and the bucks, beating a good New York side, and now 3-0 up against one of the favourites. I love the heat’s approach/mentality so much, makes tanking and being uncompetitive look at stupid as it is!

That closing quote was great, and really puts into perspective how the media and players are biased towards percieved talent, and not the numbers that are being put up night in and night out. Its been the narrative about the Heat for years now. "Their players are playing at a higher level than you expect". No, other organizations just dont expect enough of their role players. Every player on the Miami Heat, and it seems to be the case with the Denver Nuggets as well, has the full confidence of the coaching staff and their teammates. Do what you do, put in 100% effort, and work with the team. Thats all they expect, and as long as you do that, they will let you shine.

You know why the Heat are going to sweep the Celtics? Because Jimmy Butler is at this very moment telling the rest of the team that they only have one more opportunity to humiliate the Celtics and that they had damn well better take advantage of it.
The Celtics wanted to win last night because they wanted to get to the Finals. Jimmy Butler wanted to win last night because he hates the Celtics. They are in his way, yes, but he despises everyone who isn't on the Heat. That motivation is powerful.

Pat Riley doesn't tolerate BS from players
    Also got to appreciate Spoelstra
He has proven himself coaching players with strong character like LeBron as well as a rag tag bunch of under dogs like the current rosta with Jimmy and Co

I honestly think the level of coaching in the NBA does not live up to the player talent.
There are only a handful of coaches who actually manages to get the most out of their players. Considering all the head coaches in the league *should* probably among the best 50 coaches in the world, it's way too often we see inadequate coaches.
How many times have we seen bench players become stars just because they got to a different team? Would Warriors have been the same dynasty without Kerr using his pieces and giving everyone free reign to do what they do best? Every single player in the NBA is so extremely talented, and yet so many never even get the chance because they don't fit on their team.
The Heat is a great example of how you use what you have. Instead of slotting everyone into roles that doesn't fit them, build with what you have!
Front offices and coaches does not live up to the talent of the players.

In my opinion. The Heats run is unbelievable and chip would be incredible and arguably one of the greatest oat. The offensive effectivenes of the Nuggets and their run is arguably as great and Jokic just is as much him as Jimmy is and just deserves it much more as he's been doing it longer than Jimmy.

Love and Lowry were both great pickups for their championship experience within schemes that all focus on one primary scorer. They know how to play the roles. But Butler is going to have to go to yet another level to beat the 3rd quarter monsters that are the Nuggets. Jokic really excels against fatigued defenses and he will fatigue them.
The real story might be how two dark horse teams from southern Florida have had this cinderella story turn into a legit shot at a championship, and they might just win both. Panthers' path gets easier as they have already slain 2 3/4 giants and Dallas and Vegas are not giants. Heat downing Denver will take heroics but the Heat do have more rings than the Nuggets in the locker room.

Miami Heat are going to have to play chess like Stockfish. Denver Nuggets will be a formidable opponent. The experts are tipping Denver in 4 games, but I think the result will be a lot closer and could go either way.

You know, if more talk from mainstream media was more like "This team is doing really well" MUCH MORE often than saying what the other team isn't doing, it could maybe motivate the others (who i know watch mainstream media) to try to outdo the praised team. It's a small thing but if someone overhears what's working they'll want to emulate it. If all they hear is "collapsed, wrecked, ruined," all the dang time, of course they're going to come into the arena feeling like they can't win, because the narrative is al they hear. And they're being asked to put it out. It's really not as easy as it sounds.

The last bit bout the other teams complaining to the refs is spot on heat players never complain or if they did its very mild. They dont let the refs decide for them
