Nice, but why in the world use Hercules graphics? VBDOS supports VGA.

Just for fun and because of nostalgia - I love monochrome monitors! :)
VBDOS supports most screen modes of QB45.
Which makes sense, because it's based on it.
      - The Olivetti mode seems to be missing, sadly.
The GUI designer runs in pure text-mode, though.
Default is 80x25 for both VGA and Hercules.
EGA (and VGA) supports higher line count (80x43 or 80x50?).
      The /H parameter forces it.

@@dreambyte7926 : well it's indeed nostalgic. Which screen mode is olivetti?

How do I get this working in Oracle virtual box?

Hi! You have to install DOS first. You can use MS-DOS 6.x, Windows 9x DOS (DOS 7.x) or FreeDOS. Or PC-MOS/386 v5.
The latter two are Open Source and free to download.
Anyway, you need to limit the emulated processor or alternatively use DOSIDLE (a utility that can be found online) or POWER.EXE that ships with MS-DOS 6.x (see MS-DOS help).
After DOS is running, simply install Visual Basic for DOS using your own VB DOS floppy disk set and an USB floppy drive. Like any VM software, VBox can pass-through a real floppy drive to the VM. Or, if you have the original disk set, but no USB FDD or if some disks are unreadable, find some floppy disk images (WinWorldPC etc). Hope that helps.

I wish I could pay attention, but it sounds like someone is having a seizure on a drum set.....

Hi, thanks for your interest - this problem is easy to fix.
Just click the "mute" icon and enjoy. :)

Am I correct in thinking font size cannot be changed on the form interface?

Why do people make videos where they only randomly click buttons while having no idea what they are doing???
