    Didn’t know about the pen tool to animate. Actually makes it so much easier to do basic silly animations like that. Thanks for the tip!

    • @DBeefV
      @DBeefV ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, this one's insane
      There's all sorts of videos animated in a silly way, like, select an image on photoshop, and record that
      But with this, you can use the pen tool to animate it on resolve and save a bunch of time, and probs space

    I've wondered how so many youtubers I watched growing up did edits that seemed to be like mouse movements, but could never find out how they did it. This video completely answered that question. Thanks so much Patrick, great video!

    Cool! I can see this being really useful if you need to quickly blur someone's face or an object from a shot, but don't want to track anything. Just hit play and follow the movement with the mouse, animating the mask.

    When I was an AE user I always wanted to know a way to manually animate in real time.
    Now that I made the switch I'm glad Fusion does have this function! Thanks :D

    Always wondered what that was for but never really bothered testing it out. I think the most "useful" scenario for this would be if you were trying to do some sort of fake stop motion, as it would make the movement look a bit more natural than going keyframe by keyframe. Like you mentioned, it really depends on the style one is going for.

The Moment you drop a Clip in the timeline, The Audio of the File that shows in the Green Box does not show up or produce any sound for few frames. how do you dod it with rotationg

  • @raguellagrande7344
    @raguellagrande7344 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This would be very easy with a tablet and pen, with a practice hand it could be another and more exact, and it doesn't clog up space in the node screen either!
    I remember how long it took me to stimulate a static image that is jumping (pausing briefly in the middle), so many keyframes.
    More it can flow naturally without manualoy adjusting the path and i can still use grid warp and rotate, so the character or object will appear to be landing and leaning forward for the next jump
    Could also control a more smooth and flowing effect for many 3d effects using this on the final merge after the render node, or perhaps there's a way to apply it to particle effects for a less robotic version of what DR generates.
    I wonder if there a way to combine this with a camera node... Combined with setting a target, this could be very neat!

    With animations I have barely touched it so this could be a silly question. Could you do that frawing animation while a novie scene is playing? My mind went to super fast meme making where you just manually follow someones head in a scene with a cut out image of someone else's head.

    • @PatrickStirling
      @PatrickStirling  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure what you mean by frawning but yes, you can pull in a video, have a still over it, and do this method to try to follow along and match the movement with the video. But the core tracking tools in fusion are also pretty easy and quick for that kind of thing!

    • @oxygen454
      @oxygen454 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you could use tracking methods or keyframing it would also work.
