This was SUCH a breath a fresh air to see two settled black gay men. In a marriage for a lengthy amount of time speaking articulately, thoughtful, and clearly about love, their relationships, and romantic relationships in general. THIS WAS EVERYTHING SAMPSON! KEEP THESE COMING! And I gotta watch this over and over again to take notes for when it’s my time to search for a life partner
I like the interview as well but every time they used the word queer I cringed. I’m a baby boomer as well. I have been together with my partner for 37 years. White gays started using queer and there nothing queer about me. I begin using SGL after listening to Dr. Cleo Manago and fully agreed with him. I realize they are young and unfortunately we lost so many older black SGL men that didn’t have the chance to pass the baton.
@@dandiméirsociety Well, I understand your take on the word..Being a baby boomer myself we all grew up with a certain understanding about what it means or meant both positive & negative to be S.G.L or gay...Over the years I 've grown to except their use of the word Queer...it's their time & they get to name how they want...I remember back in the day ,like in the 70''s it was only Gay & lesbians. Now it's LGBTQ+ Glad to see the Black LGBTQ committees thriving in the 21century..& hope they reach out to the LGBTQ+ communities in Africa & other parts of the African diaspora..!
Thanks Sampson for this lovely interview. It's such a thrill to sit and listen to two intelligent, thoughtful black men who love each other and not afraid to share it with the world! Wishing you both many many years of joy together.
Man this was awesome to see. I’m so happy for Blair! Always was a talent from singing to even competing on Who Wants to Be A Millionaire. He deserves all the love and happiness that his husband has blessed him with. Dope interview Sampson!
Such a beautiful story! Thank for Sampson for these wonderful interviews and wonderful guys. Wish them all the best in their marriages and relationships.
Love this couple, i net my husband on POF. And i also was just looking for someone to smoke with and kick it. You all are so right the internet was our safe haven and is definitely different from what it use to be.

My partner and I were together 45 years, he passed away 2 years ago. Good luck and blessings to you both.
I'm so glad to hear couples in our community that are experiencing longevity. That's beautiful. It's inspirational.
