Quick rundown of series -The OG series, runs through season 4 - The Movie - G series, sequel of the OG series. - V series, reboot version of OG series to be closer to the Manga, this also reboot the entire game - V series Spin-off, it's a backstory of the cardshop owner when he was young and some set up for V series and potentially V G series. - V series Spin-off, where the little sis of the V series/OG protagonist find her brother missing and she become magical girl to fix the timeline and find her brother with some 4th wall breaking. - D series, completely new universe, there's a change of animation studio, reboot the game (again) - Divine Z, sequel to D series.
Fun fact: The character design of the last seasons were made by the mangaka group CLAMP. They are the creators of Sakura Card Captor, XXX Holic, Chobits, the character design of Code Geass and much more.
The very last opening from DivineZ is by a group called V.W.P. or Virtual Witch Phenomenon. I highly suggest you check them out (as a group and individuals) if you enjoyed it. They are so talented it's insane and I'm so happy bushiroad got them to do the newest opening.
I started watching vanguard if, I didn't understand anything but it was fun to watch and then with overdress I learned about the game and I liked it a lot
G isn't bad but the first protagonist was this shy timid boy who grew up to be more confident and strong, also the first protagonist lose kinda a lot so he doesn't have this perfect plot armor and when does become really good at the game it feels earned. G protagonist is your typical full of energy dumb teenager, he does get more complicated but the change of protagonist are definitely not that welcomed by people, much better than Boruto though
Vanguard is great! my favourite card game to play for sure, the card art and monster designs really are fantastic in every point in time yeah! It's been going since 2011 until present with the anime accompanying it split into 4 eras. OG: first one. Probably the most experimental for that reason, but nonetheless fun and memorable. G: the yugioh gx in that it shares a continuity with the last one but 3 years later and my personal favourite in like every category. V: first reboot, with its own continuity. split into 3 sections that's an adaptation/expansion of the manga, a prequel, and a gag series. D: second reboot with an entirely new continuity. The latest season introduces its own next generation but still counts as a part of D. Everyone's really liked the new season but I also I think the 5 before it are really underrated once it gets going at ep 5. The endings are pretty worth checking out too! though a lot of the first 11-ish are kind of samey and there are a lot more of those than openings so its hefty. after that point though you start getting much more bangers than not
Don't forget D is its continuity but not really since it's lore for Cary it's still the same one from G and the origin series it takes 3000 years later in the future after the battle Gyze
@@meickieputraaryatama6756 Divinez is listed as a part of D series the same way the previous seasons were split into Over+Dress and Will+Dress. It's the latest one but there's a new main character and product code so you could consider it a bit like what G was to OG continuation wise.
Just FYI if you intend to actually start this show, you can actually start from the D series. Heck, you can even start from the Divine Z anime which is fairly recent. It's really cool and, while, it does still provide some info on the cards, there's actually also alot of non-card nuance to the shows.
@@Runack09 Thank you. I've been this cardgame from start. So there is nostalgia feeling. From the overdress, they change the studio so there has been massive upgrade to the anime from there
my suggestions for openings: Bleach Highschool DxD (though i donno if the first ones will be accepted by TH-cam 😅 ) Yugioh (Japanese ones) Pokèmon (Japanese)
cha chaotic, yeah ... i think? digital world, becoming the card, animation for season 1 and 2 is like night and day? yeah sounds about right? and yeah it was good but i prefer shows like huntik, yugioh and case closed(detective conan) as a kid yes i know case closed was a teen/adult anime! but when your a kid that wakes up at 5 or 4 in the morning and you had access to a tv enough said plus kid me didnt know any better. but do i regret it, hell no!
I mean people are literally wanting the first protagonist to go back, so much so that in the end of season 2 G, when we see a glimpse of him in form of hint drop and faceless old photo people are losing their shit
The main reason I fell off watching the show is they stopped showing the card game in this card game anime. In the later seasons and in G they could go several turns without showing a single move, and focused the show more on showing off monster designs and battles than the card game I came here for.
Yup. Ride, attack, ride, attack, break ride, I win. Though apart from its very first game leaning more towards being cinematic, they did go back to full proper play in the Overdress series.
yugioh was my fav card game anime since childhood but since i started watching vanguard 13 years ago i have always love it more than yugioh, vanguard is such a blast
Honeslt after vanguard G ended, i kinda lost interest as the reboot wasnt that good compared to the original anime and how much everything after it seemed less like the cardfight i grew up with

Legion Mate and IF also lack an English Dub,so they will be need to be watched Subbed

By last seasons are you referring to Link Joker and Legion Mate or the last seasons of G like G:Z?
@@ahmeduansar No, i'm referring to overDress and will+Dress
If you like this then you might like buddy fight openings
Up this
Bump
I prefer buddyfight over Vanguard only because it's very confusing
@@zicao9644 yeah me too
Whoever made this request, Thank You!! I love cardfight vanguard
If you enjoyed these, you should definitely react to the Future card Buddyfight openings. I don't have a single opening of them that I dislike myself.
Thank you for reacting to my request
Thank you for putting it in, I love cfv
I appreciate that you still remember my Gundam request and still planning to do it 🙏
That's right, hopefully I can get it done soon
Nice reaction Vanguard one of my favorite series
They made a reboot of the original making it closer to the manga
And it sucks
wait, there's a manga that came before the og anime?

The vanguard cards have arguably the best art design out of all card games I've seen, and the anime is really good as well, highly recommend it.
I thought that too till i saw buddyfight
@@zeff3016 unfortunately its dead😅
Yoo nice reaction, rarely saw good reaction for cardfight vanguard
Og were the best. Jam project was a good band who did alot of different animes openings.
I know what cartoon you talking about is call chaotic I don't remember where but I hear season 1 was made in Adobe Flash lol
I started watching vanguard if, I didn't understand anything but it was fun to watch and then with overdress I learned about the game and I liked it a lot
I think the show you were think of is called choatic.
yup^
I know of two cartoons with the concept of turning into the card, the first is called "chaotic" and the other one is called "Redekai"
I like is VG season 3 link joker series, it was so good for the reverse cards
The show that you talk about at the beginning, I think that you're talking about Chaotic
Where's Believe in My Existence? That's the best opening in Cardfight Vanguard history!!! Also, we stan Aichi and Ren here.
before the reboot era are masterpieces
the show is call Chaotic and it was great.
you should definitely watch it!

Please could you check out the buddyfight openings? Made by the same company
I think the show you were talking about is Redakai
This anime is peak
check out the endings bro nobody has done them, also i started watching this it's pretty good.

22:3 huntik ?
Actually probably chaotic
G main character ace is not a mecha its a gear dragon
there are english versions already
my suggestions for openings:
Bleach
Highschool DxD (though i donno if the first ones will be accepted by TH-cam 😅 )
Yugioh (Japanese ones)
Pokèmon (Japanese)
React to buddyfight openings and Yugioh

Watch cardfight it’s good achi is the goat
Pls react to bang dream op and ed
Lol threw ne off when the 1st op wasn't 1st shown
season 3 and 4 were the best.
Link Joker and Legion Mate
I agree with link joker but personally legion mate is not for me
i am on season 2 ep 17 and it's been a struggle to get through ngl, Season 1 was great slow but great.
Calling vanguard g the boruto of vanguard is a crime, but i get what you mean
