I'm just curious, it appears you apply cement to joint 2 painted surfaces, do you scrap the paint off at the glue point or premask the glue point?

If the surface to be glued is not visible, I use normal model glue. The paint layer is so thin that it does not significantly affect the bond. If the gluing is in a visible place, however, I usually use BSI super gold+ glue.
