    Oh wauw! Wild boar at the sea! Never thought I would see that card again! Even though it was a bit unlucky for the guy it was great to see that card again!
    Great video! Have been curious to how ogroids are doing, not that great without Regis but much better than I expected!

    heya nice vid, sometimes simple big boys decks are best especially if you dont wanna think much xd, ogroids and relics do the trick for me at least, also very gratifying moment when the renfri player disconnected right after emoting , makes up for last vid :)

    Thanks for the video, fella!! Ogroids are a fun deck to play if you just want to slam points, and are great at fast-climbing lower ranks. I prefer a much more control heavy deck - makes it a bit more interesting to play and also competitive in the current state of the game. I think my Chrum plays for 14, which is still ample. Really appreciate your consistent, quality Gwent content.

    I started gwent last year and one deck I really enjoy playing is renfri poison in sco. I found it worked really well back when we still had a team working on the game. Now with almost nothing but control decks it is sad to see it gone. It was a fun take on control that wasn’t madoc bombs or soldiers. (I was not around for renfri on release, my hate doesn’t run as deep as many others)

    Arent wild hunt hounds ogroids?? Or beasts?

    As someone who has copied this exact deck and can't get past rank 21, ogroids is absolutely NOT still viable...

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's not the best Monsters deck but I wouldn't say it's unviable. I've seen some this season both like this and a Renfri version.

      @@platinumpatrol2964 I think I just suck lol. What is the best monster deck in your opinion?

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RoyChong_1 It can always be the deck's playstyle isn't a great fit too. I'd say the best Monsters deck at the moment is either Tatterwing Arachas Swarm or Wild Hunt Frost, although GN Relicts is good too.

    Glad you keep making videos, and imo ogroids is such a stupid deck. A card game is supposed to require a lot of critical thinking and whatnot, whereas with this it's literally just pointslam after pointslam, and the only strategy you have with this is trying to avoid your opponents tall removal. Might be wrong but I've never liked monsters for this reason, I feel like so many people who main this faction don't think much at all and just get an ez pass.
    (Might be even more biased after facing a witches sabbath, cave troll, chrum, and kelly deck.)

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

      I think that's an oversimplification. There are 5 control cards, 5/7 (depending on how you use Nekker Warrior) engine cards, and 2 consistency cards in the deck. That's pretty similar to a lot of other decks in the game.
      Monsters do have some decks with very clear plans, this plays big guys after engines, Tatterwing AQ only spawns little guys and buffs them before dropping Morvudd + Tatterwing, Koshchey Renfri thins the deck and then wins with Caranthir + Koshchey + Renfri order, Deathwish plays Dagon then consumes all their guys. But a strong deck identity doesn't mean the decks take no thinking or skill (although some take less than others like many of the Witches Sabbath abuse decks you mentioned).

      Ez pass? Just play the deck then if youre so worried about an easy pass. Learn to control the opponents cards and git gud
