Franz Liszt (Hungarian: Liszt Ferencz; October 22, 1811 - July 31, 1886) was a prolific 19th-century Hungarian composer, virtuoso pianist and conductor. Liszt gained renown in Europe during the early 19th century for his prodigious virtuosic skill as a pianist. He was a friend, musical promoter and benefactor to many composers of his time, including Frédéric Chopin, Richard Wagner, Hector Berlioz, Robert Schumann, Camille Saint-Saëns, Edvard Grieg, Ole Bull, Joachim Raff, Mikhail Glinka, and Alexander Borodin. As a composer, Liszt was one of the most prominent representatives of the New German School (Neudeutsche Schule). He left behind an extensive and diverse body of work in which he influenced his forward-looking contemporaries and anticipated many 20th-century ideas and trends. Some of Liszt’s most notable musical contributions were the invention of the symphonic poem, developing the concept of thematic transformation as part of his experiments in musical form, and making radical departures in harmony.

Buenos Aires, 28.09.2023.
Thanks for including some of my performances! It was a lot of fun learning Un Sospiro 👌

God bless you HALIDONMUSIC
wow, how beautiful Liszt's songs are, I love it! Un sospiro is my favorite, a wonderful song. I expected this a lot...
Not all Liszt's. I thought I heard Franz Schubert's Serenade in there.
@@webepebe8 Liszt's transcription of Schubert's Serenade
“Music embodies feeling without forcing it to contend and combine with thought, as it is forced in most arts and especially in the art of words.”
― Franz Liszt
Beautiful
Está de moda Un Suspiro. 🎶🎶🎶🌹😃
I’ve only just started listening to classical music recently and only discovered Liszt last week. I’m very excited about this find.

Obrigada por essa maravilha de Liszt!!♥️
Liszt, um dos melhores. Belas expressões, dramático, sentimentalista👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Gran pianista. ♥️. Gracias.
Mazeppa is INCREDIBLE!! The effort taken into this
Work of art is amazing. I always listen to Liszt in my 7th hour, and I always make sure to always go to this one. The melody is great, and we realize how amazing his skill was back then. 1:40:29 is my favorite part of the song. The build up is so cool! I obviously love the other songs too, but this one has a special place on my musical heart.
Thank you so much! I've been waiting for this for so long!!!! It's literally the best choice in songs
Thank you for saying so, Alexandra! Next time you have a request or suggestion, leave us a comment though 😊 we love hearing from you guys!
💕🙏🇮🇷 gracias.
Surprisingly, this is one of the only two classical music compilations that I've ever found that includes La Campanella.

Is beautiful and sad one time belissimo!
A música clássica é vida!! ❤️❤️❤️
Bravo!!!!

the first piece is similar to Chopin's "Aeolian" Op.25 No.1
similar on the way of the playing, but a different melody
I like La Campanella the most!

05:46 Ständchen (Serenade), S. 560, No. 7
Vadim Chaimovich
Wait, this was composed by Fr. Schubert, not Liszt ;)
Well spotted, Duy! The piece was originally composed by Franz Schubert and later arranged for piano by Franz Liszt. We've just updated the description - didn't mean to cause any confusion. Thank you for listening 😊

5:47 (Standchen) Wasn't this one written by Schubert?
Very Liszt. 😎
Cada una tiene su nombre.
😉😉😉😉🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏
Could you please explain to me why all Liszt's not are originally played by him? why is someone else playing it? And if its his original melody how it was found it?
Because musical notation, like, exists?
@@counterr6750
Probably yes. Im still not convinced about Liszt's tho. I mean you can see the work of Beethoven and Chopin playing their own instrument. Remember, Liszt and Chopin were friends, isn't that strange, not to find any real work by Liszt?
Professor * Well, I don’t think you can. Phonograph was invented in 1877, while Beethoven died in 1827 and Chopin in 1849.
Also, I wouldn’t call playing the music the “real work” of the composer. For lots of pieces it’s not even possible.
Me piano solo please ok?

I've difinetely heard at least few Schubert's pieces
Yes, there are a couple of pieces here that Liszt didn't write. He was the one who arranged them for piano, though 😊
@@HALIDONMUSIC So not original?

I've put together a synthesia playlist together if anyone is interested.
That is one whack Un Sospiro performance.

If Liszt got 10% of musical creativity of Chopin or Schubert he would be considered the greatest musician and yet with all his talent virtuosity and technique He just transcripted the first 3 pieces from 1st the aeolian of Chopin 2nd Serenata of Schubert and 3rd Impromptu n 3 of Schubert and what else?
Very nice the title is Liszt and we are listening Schubert that standchen is serenata of Schubert and Liebestraume is copied from Schuberts impromptu op90 n 3 no more comment
