I have such fond memories of this game. For a movie inspired game it was absolutely dope. The gameplay felt so tight and controllable. From the melee to the firefights the game was just pure awesome.
Kinda had a Revelation while watching those takedowns with those quick camera cuts, and then it hit me. I really do have a soft spot for unarmed combat/cqc/melee combat. From RDR2 to GTA 4 to The Warriors, AC's unarmed moves and Syndicate's Brass Knuckles, Sleeping Dogs counters and environment takedown. Even the RPG melee/unarmed builds of Fallout/Oblivion/Skyrim. And to my personal favorite, the Yakuza series. And plenty more... There's that feeling you get when you straight up throw down in a video game. The thrill of an unarmed/CQC fight, for some reason, feels more intriguing/personal than a gun fight.

this and that bond game that was in your last video has some of my favorite takedown animations ever. though bloodstone had it right with just having one button whoop ass takedowns cause the hand to hand in this game as good as it sounds just takes me out of it. anyways an undefeated generation for licensed games they were on a roll.

This is one of those games that looks kinda like booty, but also a good time. I've always been drawn to mediocre 3rd person shooters and licensed games. I remember deciding not to purchase this game, but it's still been in the back of my mind and now after watching this video it must be mine XD.

I forgot how good this games CQC is. The only thing i never liked about this game was how quick it was over. Like 4/5hrs. I remember completing it in one evening 😆 Your compilation makes the game look longer in my mind for some reason. But that's just a gripe. The brutality of the CQC was great. The noise he makes and the speed of the moves gives them so much impact. I really do miss this kind of CQC in video games. It gets boring when you see it with men in costumes. Bourne and John Wick definitely learned from The Big Boss 😆
