It is important that you are made aware that you are mispronouncing Vice Pesident Harris’s first name. It is pronounced COMMA la (emphasizing the first syllable like the punctuation) with a “la” at the end.
Because correct pronunciation of a person’s name in a public forum is important and shows respect for that person, you should be aware of the correct pronunciation.
Also, please know there are persons who mispronounce her name on purpose to denote disrespect and to ridicule her.

Gavin Newsome is a clown at best he almost was recalled.
He was recalled a few times and the approval rating was overwhelming. You probably don't live in a state that does recalls so, giving you the benefit of the doubt here, but with an asterisk ;-). Any group of people who can garner enough signatures in California can be recalled. They are cheap shots from people who are more concerned with power than governing the state "better". Newsom governs a state that is the fifth largest economy in the world. Considering where the we are here budget-wise in California (I live here), as Colin says, "he's doing okay".
This is not an easy place to govern. Been here 22 years in August. Raised two boys here to be strong and independent minded. Taking my youngest to the Nixon libraries next month before school starts. This is a great state, despite the challenges.

Libertarian is about minimal government interference in all things. Cut taxes, Decrease pointless spending to support those tax cuts, allowing people to keep money in their pockets, not sticking their nose in personal choices(Allow people to avoid or seek abortion without government interference, allow the lbgtq to live their lives, allow drug use within moderation)
Small government is better because the government, currently, has proven itself unreliable and untrustworthy. It's honestly the best of both worlds when it comes to the right(tax cuts, fiscal responsibility in reduced spending) and the left(limited interference by the government in all social matters).
Would it rustle feathers? Of course, but that's the whole point of having more than just two sides of the same coin.
Hopefully the generations ahead will get that memo and eventually start to open up the choices in the country because right now it's just 'do you want the ship to sink in 10 minutes or sink in 11 minutes'?
