- Today we took on the fun task of learning how to make authentic tamales thanks to Carlos' mom and then making as many as we could in just a few hours! How did we do?!

Love how both family got together to make tamales, although I was a little confused because it's the first time I see someone cooking the masa before hand. My family is Mexican and I have family in different parts of Mexico and never seen or heard about that. Usually you prepare the Masa or buy it already prepared for you and you use it like so I don't think they are authentic tamales may be in the region where Carlos family is from they are but not from any other part in Mexico.
This was just one way my mom made them but I know others make them differently like some use banana leaves

Please do more videos like this! I’m Mexican so I grew up on tamales and making them but it’s so cool seeing you and your family being exposed to Mexican culture!
Sprinkle black pepper in the area she digs. It will discourage the digging because they wont want to get pepper in their nose.

We also made tamales here in the philippines but its different from mexican because we wrap it in banana leaves

Try putting pepper wherever she digs! It worked for mine and it’s not going to hurt them. I did the same type of thing for inside, my dog when he was 6 months was chewing through the DRYWALL in the middle of the hallway. Not even on a corner or anything! I put hot sauce on the wall and he’s never done anything like it again.

I recommend to build a sandbox for cece, gonetothesnowdogs have that for their dogs. Huskys loves to dig

First of all I am a HUGE FAN of yours and also your sister missy's family. But when my dog dug we would put cyan pepper on the spots and REALLY FAST she stoped digging and she has not dug since.

Cece is bored and she knows how to get your attention. I think it's time to put the dogs together and let them play, she not a baby anymore and basically a wolf and can give as good as she gets, let them be friends !!
@Leah Lynch that kind of dog needs to be out of the house in a big garden running around for about 10 to 12 hours a day, plus she is still a puppy. They are a hard dog to look after I can guarantee she is bored out of her mind, that breed of dogs get naughty like teenagers when they are bored rip and dig anything and everything they can.
@Leah Lynch You would be surprised how many huskies end up in dog homes, because you never know what you are getting until you get your dog, they are a working dog with A LOT of energy and very clever dogs. You can do all the research you want, you will never know until you get your dog. I am simply giving my opinion and not saying anything about their intelligence. @Leah Lynch Dogs dig like that when bored, thats me making an observation not judging, you are the one who is judging. I am 44 years old and had dogs all my life and worked with dog I know what a bored dog looks like. YOU are the one causing trouble.
