- Today @AwakenToast and I revisited a game called Legendary Tales. Last time I spoke about this game I mentioned it was quietly being abandoned... since then there still hasn't been any game updates, which is a shame because this game has so much potential!

I love how a day later they drop the announcement for 1.0 finally dropping with a real date, haha. Im gonna need you do this for every other project that is seemingly being abandoned so we can get surprise revivals.

Dude come on. You have GOT to actually do research before doing these videos. You claimed it was abandoned last time without doing research that would have told you that they messed up trying to upgrade to UE5, found that they'd have to do a LOT of the game from scratch and had to downgrade back to UE4. That's why there weren't any updates for so long. And now you post this video with this title mere hours before they announce 1.0 drops next month. Clickbait titles are one thing, but you're still leaning hard into "it's abandoned". That's NOT going to push the devs to work harder. That's only going to push potential players who see this video away.
Bud just cause u play the game doesn’t mean other people want to, which is why other people dont play it, if it was good more people would play it
Honestly I didn’t anticipate that the announcement of the update would come out the same day. They were talking about the update for so long
They promised the 1.0 update to drop 2022. then 2023 so next month drop may or may not happen. Yes I'm aware of the difficulties but the complete radio slience (Honestly jb adding gif to discord is not communication) for almost a year is not valid business strategy
@@DownloadableContent luckily you can create new videos if the update actually does happen! I really hope it does since I've not played the game for 1,5 years due to fact that update will erase your current save files 😂
@@dylankperry8644 I haven't played this since April. I've been keeping an eye on it because of the update. But are you really claiming that "game is abandoned" won't convince people not to give the game a try?
I haven't seen the video yet but i just wanted to say that the dev as been working on a huge update for like a year so i wouldn't call it wasted potential. I'll watch the video now hehe.
Edit: the devs just announced version 1.0 minutes ago! It looks amazing!
It has so much potential, I wish they'd atleast add better mod support.

man you need to really research games more before you talk about them, literally looking in the discord for 2 seconds wouldve told you that there would be an announcement in feb and that the game is being actively worked on but instead you decided to tell everyone its "abandoned" and "wasted potential." with your kind of following this can really hurt an indie studio, do better
