My REL T/9i bottoms out quite a bit at moderate volumes during lower frequency bass. Sounds really unsettling. Is there anything I can do to eliminate this occurrence besides turning it down? It blends nicely how it’s currently set up at lower volume but when I turn up the system, the sub just can’t keep up
It is tough to say for certain why this is happening, though it is worth getting in touch with our service department for troubleshooting assistance. When you have a chance, please write in to contactus@rel.net with a brief description of the equipment that you are using and how the T/9i is connected in your system and we will be happy to assist.
care to recommend a t series sub, 7 or 9. or 2 7's, for B7W 703 S2's? my denon pma 1700 is SO much clearer than my yamaha as-801, i'm really enjoying at low volume when the kids are asleep. at low volume, though bass is quiet. i expect this. At normal volumes, a sweep indicated a room bump at 40hz then basically dead after that. I may plug ports and see what happens.. anyways.... a t series sub?
Thank you for reaching out. When you have a chance, please write in to contactus@rel.net and our team will be happy to provide a subwoofer pairing recommendation specific to your system. In your email please include the model of main loudspeakers that you are using, the model of amplifier used to power the speakers, and the dimensions (length, width, height) of your room.
Thank you for reaching out. For use in a small room, we typically recommend the T/5x as being the best option for pairing with your Kef Q350 speakers. The T/5x has a fast and responsive output that will blend seamlessly with these speakers, and will have plenty of power to adequately fill and pressurize this size of room. If you have any additional questions about subwoofer pairing for your system then feel free to write in to contactus@rel.net and we will be happy to assist.
@@RELAcoustics Thank you for the reply! I went with a HT1003, because i mainly want it for home theater. I hope it pairs well with my kef's. Excited for it to arrive 😁👍
@@Mu1eZ666 how do they sound for both theater and music? Did u set your speakers to large like they recommended I also live in a small space was deciding on the ht1003 or the T5x
Thank you for reaching out. The size and shape of your room will have an impact on how low-frequency sound distributes, and in these types of rooms the addition of a subwoofer will be especially helpful to restore low-frequency output so that your room is capable of true full-range sound reproduction. If you have any questions about which of our subwoofer models will be the ideal choice for your system, and how to set up the subwoofer in your system, then feel free to write in to contactus@rel.net and we will be happy to assist.
Wow what a product! Rel is just for over 20 years a part of my life!
