If only WWG could actually see it. They still claim they're identical, which is obviously untrue to anyone who takes a moment to inspect them side by side.
That's the norm for most companies with KS exclusives. They typically reserve the right to sell at conventions and the like (or even direct on their own site, though WWG doesn't do that). The key here is to let people know where they can get them most easily, given that most players/collectors won't be traveling the con circuit.
