Commercial vehicles like the Ford Ranger are coming with more driver aids & safety systems these days, so I thought I'd make this video to explain how everything works.

@abate1936 end of 2018 (MY19) was when things like autonomous braking became standard on the Wildtrak.

@cartoons No worries at all. No, only the Everest Titanium had blind spot detection
Good day awesome clip, you in lighted me more than the saleman my 2021 wildttrack 2l Bio has not got the oil setting or the seat belts ?? do I ask my dealer to set it up !!
@Manuel Jardim Yes, speak to your dealer and they will be able to help you
I have the 2021.75 px3 ford ranger xlt 3.2L and it doesn't seem to have the oil life reset?
Are you able to confirm if it does or not.
The cluster on the 2021.75 only has the 1 digital display in the middle between the larger speedometer and the RPM guage.

For the 2019 FX4 I can't how to turn on chime for overspeed I use a separate GPS for this now. Can the chime option be added in to the program at an upcoming 20k service?

Great video very clear.I have paid a deposit on my new wildtrak that is being delivered in January and I’m wondering what comes standard in the tech end of things as it’s unclear in the brochure.Thanks
@Dave 1987 Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed the video. The Wildtrak comes with a whole host of tech, including safety and infotainment features. Was there something specific you want/need?
@@WebbyOnCars Lane keep assist? I’m wondering is this a standard feature on the wildtrak? Also will I be able to start the vehicle from my phone from outside the house prior to getting into it? Thanks for the reply.
@@Dave-1290r yes, ‘Lane keeping aid’ is standard in all Rangers. If you use the FordPass app on your phone then you can remotely start your engine.

Webby I have a 2016 Ford Everest Limited with Sync 2 and I note there is a possibility on the small left screen in the consol to enter navigation I want to engage the talkback function, however on my screen there is only Entertainment and Phone. Is the Traffic sign function not available on my model and is there an upgrade available? Thanks
@Rex Harvey If you've only got entertainment and phone to choose from, it doesn't sound like you've got navigation in your car.
Does the 2020 Ranger Raptor have any blindspot detection methods? Digital or not?
No, none of the Rangers get any sort of blind spot detection. I imagine we’ll see it on the next Ranger in a couple of years time though
Really nice tutorial. Our Wildtrak doesn't have traffic sign recognition. Is it omitted on some cars or depends on the country you're in?
@Chanda Musonda Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it. This feature was introduced at the end of 2020 here in Australia, I’m not sure about other countries though
Hi there, back with a question.
My roller shutter has lost memory. I did try a tutorial on the Ford Australia TH-cam channel on how to reprogram it and it doesn't seem to work.
I got it from the dealership after service yesterday, they did lubricate it but they didn't automate it.
Any idea on how to have it back fully operational again?

Just a quick question. I was driving my 2019 wildtrak and the display screen went totally black, a message came up a short while later saying update required. It updated when I got home. But before the update,
I got a audio message saying caution whenever I came up to a red light camera. After the update I no longer get this message. Any Ideas?

@Peter Immel that sounds strange! Have you spoken to your local dealership at all?
Does a 2021 Ford Ranger STX have a digital speedometer?
@Juan Carlos Landeros I’m not familiar with the STX model as we don’t get that here in Australia, but I would think it would have a digital speedo. Maybe check with your local Ford dealership to confirm
What can I do if the car has automatically disabled the lane keeping function? In my settings (Ranger Wildtrak 2021) I selected alert + aid and also intensity is high, but the car just doesn’t identify lanes anymore. Any idea how to fix this? (I’ve been using the car on the exact same roads for the past 2 months, and now it doesn’t see the lanes on roads where it used to). Thanks in advance!

@@WebbyOnCars So I found the button 😂 I guess it was already active when I got the car so I never bothered finding out how to activate/deactivate it and someone in my family must have turned it off while I wasn’t there. Anyway, thank you! 🤠

I just bought a used Ford Everest 2018 and when I was driving home the collision assistant warning flashed in front of me for no reason
Can it show false warnings?
@Patrick Guerrisi maybe check if the sensor in the front bumper to make sure it’s not dirty, if that fails speak to your local ford dealership to see if there’s any issues
@@WebbyOnCars hey no worries. It just happened again in the exact same spot going the same way. In that street its pretty narrow and there are parrellel parked cars on the left. I go about 50-60 km per hour. Not sure if thats related? It may think going at that speed there is something in front

@Jason Cox in the vehicle settings section you’ll see an option called chimes
Can you really switch off the annoying 'chime' when you leave your door open as shown at 4:40? I didn't think it was that easy.

Far k it worked! Is there a way I can use the metal key to lock all door? Or put another way be able to lock all but drivers door, then use key to manually lock drivers door? I want to leave FOB in the car when I go surfing
