His name and age is, but not this. Is there a source you can site to it?
Hey bro, for a better understanding of the movie, you need to have a broader perspective and not just base yourself on the Bible, I am myself protestant, but if you read the book of Enoc (an ancient Hebrew apocalyptic religious text, ascribed by tradition to the patriarch Enoch who was the father of Methuselah and the great-grandfather of Noah) that booked considered part of the Bible for some ortodoxan Cristian churches, tex in the Thora Jewish, in the mishrad also jewhis plus the coran you will see many aspects and will find the movie more interesting@boredblackbelt
@Ater_Nefarium I figured most of it was in reference to the book of Enoch by the different animals, the Angels, and the way that Methuselah talks about Enoch. Still, it's not biblical. It's not just apocryphal because they labeled it that. It is because of so many different elements, many of which point to it being written in the Hellenistic period and filled with Babylonian tradition and myth.
@@boredblackbelt I just Ah, people say what is and what isn't though some were written at a time relatively similar to the Bible but dismissed, and things that were in the original discarded.

@@darkomen6171That's the point of the film. If they can't get you to see God as the villain outright, to see God as "maybe not all perfect" is a victory for Satan in and of itself. The reason we aren't perfect isn't because The Lord is imperfect. It's because we've CHOSEN to go against his Perfect will. Satan and the fallen angels rebelled against God. Mankind rebelled like the fallen angels did and we've reaped consequences for it, but through Jesus Christ's sacrifice, humanity can be forgiven and reconciled to the Lord.

Historically each of the sons already had wives and children by the time they got in the ark. Also Noah and his family were sealed into the ark and no one could get in before the rains started
@@JB6GD684 it's the historical manuscript accounts of the flood I'm referring to. Like the book of Enoch in Ethiopia and others.
Biblically speaking no! They are not Nephilims. There is a cryptic passage in the Genisis that says: "the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful. And they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose" After that, God says that humans will not live more than 120 years because: "He will not allow his spirit to live in them forever". This passage has been interpreted in many ways and none of them were really satisfying. According to one of the many interpretations, the Nephilims were the sons of the "Sons of God" and the "daughters of men". So they are not Nephilim, they are...the sons of God.
Nephilim are only one hierarchy of the angelic offspring and they are also referred to as demi Gods according to Greek mythology because they were half angel and half human. They were also called "heros of renown" or legendary heros in the bible.
I don't know about you TGE, but I'm pretty sure the alleged mothers of the Nephilim (and these giant stone people) would've had some issues with conceiving children.
Yet they don’t explain the ones that mated with the daughters of men in Oder to create the nephilim, giants Ect. N Noah being the sinless I his generation..
True story of what actually happened is much different. The watchers taught man warfare. They had giant children that are men. It was actually them that caused me to become increasingly sinful. So now they're locked in chains, 4 of them under the Euphrates river
This movie is blasphemous and falsely depicts these fallen angels as friendly to man and victims of their "good will". The truth is they violated the will of God solely because of Lust for human women and the consequences of their actions filled the earth with great evil in the form of extremely violent giants that caused a lot of harm to man. The watchers and their giant offspring were likely one of the major reasons for the flood. Noah would have never sided with giants and giants would have never helped Noah.
Yes, flaming swords are talked about multiple times. There are two guarding the entrance to the garden of Eden And Jesus was seen in visions holding one.

The Fallen Angels that are Demons are the Angels that team up with Lucifer against God, The Watchers here are different because they disobey God by Helping Humans not Lucifer that's why God Let them restore themselves in the end.
@@Leod119 if not all men are evil, then not all of the fallen are evil.
Still the greatest display of fire magic in movies so far.
This scene made me tear up because I remembered the bible and Noah.
I'm not trying to be facetious or rude. So please understand that my question isn't satire. What story are you referring to? This isn't Biblical. Not truly. I mean, Jubal Cain was there, and Methuselah was Noah's ancestor. However, the Angels, fallen or otherwise, are not mentioned in the Biblical account in this way. Neither is Methuselah.
@@boredblackbeltsaleh in hebrew and the book of enoch but you know something’s aren’t looked at
@Ater_Nefarium I figured most of it was in reference to the book of Enoch by the different animals, the Angels, and the way that Methuselah talks about Enoch.
We must all become immortal beings of pure light like the angels in this video go team ❤🎉
This single scene made me cry (felt so sorry for Fallen Angels) :(
Hollywood wants you to feel sorry for fallen angels. That's why they didn't tell the story that's in the Bible, they told a fictional story and used Bible characters
“I see a glimpse of Adam the man I came to save ” we got some crazy deep lore
That's was the coolest shit ever
1:05 how I think I look like when I level up just a bit in a game.
Well, it wouldn’t be a Hollywood Bible movie without casting God as the villain.
Maybe not a villain but maybe he not all perfect how we been lead to believe just how we our created in his image maybe the reason we are not perfect is because he isn’t either
@@joshuajarod1909 The BIBLE itself has Jesus coming to show humanity and GOD a different way. To forgive mankind instead of punishing us. Why would such a thing be necessary if he isn't imperfect, if GOD is omnipresent in all things. You don't even understand the lessons the religion you're attempting to defend, because you're a zealot.

Historically each of the sons already had wives and children by the time they got in the ark. Also Noah and his family were sealed into the ark and no one could get in before the rains started
“Historically”? It’s not history though
The flood myth is an amalgamation of many different flood myths that predate Christianity lol
@@JB6GD684 she meant biblically
@@JB6GD684 it's the historical manuscript accounts of the flood I'm referring to. Ancient cultures around the world have written accounts of Noah and each of his son's and families and the flood etc. There's a whole genealogical line you can trace through the different cultural accounts as well. Like the book of Enoch in Ethiopia and others.
Historical 😅 More like fairy tale. 😂
Stand for something or fall for anything ⚔️ 🛡️ 🪖💜 ⚓⚓⚓ amen
So are they like the Nephilim or fallen angels, or a bit of both?
Biblically speaking no! They are not Nephilims.
There is a cryptic passage in the Genisis that says: "the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful. And they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose"
After that, God says that humans will not live more than 120 years because: "He will not allow his spirit to live in them forever".
