Insane video. Loved it. A lot of these shortcuts make me think they save you more time than what you posted, though....I might be wrong....just going from memory. Awesome vid.
awesome video. My friends and I normally allow the shortcuts that don't require being picked up from off the map. Didn't know about the little hop shortcut on yoshis valley, great help
Ahh, nice to see the first video game I ever bought. Its amazing how much of that day I remember of that day, and to watch games progress to what they are now.
TYVM u rock lol my cuz/ friend was shownin me some but im glad i came on youtube n found u lol now i know all of them now i just have 2 try them, study them, then beat my cuz n bro at this game lol thx u helped me a lot
The Second D.K.'S Jungle Parkway Section, If I'm Right, Is The One Where You Jump Up The Angled Slope. That I Know Will Get You Past Another Racer But The Total Time Saved Is, At Best, A Second And Often Not Even That Because You Bounce Off The Wall. I Know I Use It To Gain A Spot If I Have Been Stuck Behind Somebody. So Position Wise It Helps But Not Time Wise.
well that's a weird thing. Probably it was the game pak I used to play with, because I live in Mexico and the game was purchased here, Anyway, after some years I downloaded the rom over the net because the game pak got damaged and the fence wans't there either. Bah whatever! the thing is that I've tried some of this shorcuts that I didn't know and work damn well, so thanks for posting this video.
I'm sure I'll get slated by some for saying this, but I prefer this one to the original SNES game, and I've been playing them since the beginning in '92. Don't get me wrong, the SNES one is definitely my next favourite, I just think after this one they all went a bit crap, with the exception of the Mario Kart Super Circuit (GBA) that put all the original tracks from the SNES version in it.
@ksn200 Really? That was probably one of the first I found all those years ago. It's almost as obvious as the cave tunnel shortcut on Koopa Troopa Beach.
nice vid - maybe you could update the video to show the better (but harder) shortcuts of some of these, like mario raceway, yoshi valley, choco mountain, rainbow road, luigi raceway.... ill give you like/video response if you want
Shortcuts at 0:31, 1:53, 4:40 i figured out But at 0:44, 1:03, 1:30, 2:16, 3:16, 3:50, 4:17...i never knew...I thank you And 2:54, i found out about this but could hardly time it right

i already knew about the rainbow road but its hard to do and the wario stadiam has lots of shortcuts. that road stage looks cool
Great job! nice and short to the point! love it thanks so much
Cool shortcuts!
on the freeway course, the second part where u have to do a 90 degree turn and jump over the rail again is almost impossible to do!
I always tried to do the 2nd shortcut at Yoshi Valley...But anyway, good job dude!
By the way, what´s the name of the song?
Awesome! BTW, what´s the name of the song? And its artist?
The one with the big arrow pointing to it, in the shape of a ramp.
very informative thanks for uploading

you are my hero
it changes depending on the type of gameplay mode you are in.
is this mariokart an european version or something? I ask because I've never seen this fence on choco mountain where the shortcut can be done.

AWESOME
my lap record for frappe snowland is 16.29 :D
thx for these cheats :)
Me and my sister always play this game. wait till I do this.
How do you do the toads turnpike cheat? When i try to jump over the rails yoshi can neer get hgh enough?
And these will work in the regular mode of gameplay as well?
the fence is only there on 50cc i think.. Maybe 100cc too. I can't remember.. Long time since i've played Flower cup. Star cup is the one for me :D
there's a rail on your choco mountain?! There isn't on mine....
thank you
very good friend
