Cool. Is there anyway you can tell the car if you're using a 15amp or 20 circuit? Your 12amp draw is close to max for a 15amp breaker. A 20amp breaker could push out maybe 16 or 17amps.
@@MrDunkin Yes, I have seen, briefly, on some video showing energy consumption by the charging system. But, I'd think it has no idea where the electricity is coming from unless you tell car what you are using as a source. Now, if it's on a 240 volt outlet, car may figure that out, but, again how does it know what the max is? I'm still looking for some TH-camr to make a video on some this tech stuff.

What I know is that on the app you can control how much amps the car uses while it’s charging. Not sure if that helps but I hope it does 🙏🏽

There are 5-20 connectors that charge at 16a. If possible do the 14-50 cable.
