Building the Atlantic Elite Media Storage Cabinet for my Collection Room (Not Instructional)

- Watch me as I put together a new wall unit for my collection room. It is the Atlantic Elite Media Storage Cabinet and it stores 837 CDs, 630 Blu-Rays, 531 DVDs, 624 PS3/PS4 Games or 528 wii Games! These are great shelves and I would recommend them. They are easy to put together and very sturdy. The instructions were easy to read and it took me about 30 - 45 minutes to put the unit together.
** I was able to fit 624 blu-rays on the shelves or 480 steelbooks. **

I have this same shelf. A lot of people don’t like it or complain about how hard it was to put together. I think they are great. A little time consuming to assemble but other than that I love em.
The first one I put together took a while to figure out, but the second one went a lot quicker.

I agree. It makes it feel more sturdy and I feel that the shelves can hold a lot more weight.

Very true! Anything that isn't still shrink wrapped goes into a protect bag or sleeve.

I bought 3 of the Atlantic Oskar shelving units and they are great. You can see them behind me, in the videos I shoot. The thing I like about the Oskar units are the don't let the DVD or Blu-ray hang over the edge. They are true 6" inch shelves. I have 1 Atlantic Elite and just didn't care for it overall.

what do u have for lighting to see cds... I have the same shelves... their in basement... so its hard to see title to select cd... tried light pucks... not really liking them... any ideas?
I tried the light pucks also and they did not work well. I use a flashlight and a magnifying glass, because my old eyes can't see very well anyways.
Im trying to put the Atlantic 756 wall display together and it’s not right it doesn’t line up it seems to be missing steps or the instructions are wrong. I usually do this in about 30 mins any ideas??
I have put 5 together and all ended up aligning with no issues.
I literally had to “dry” fit the entire thing the instructions are not very clear on a crucial step. Which was a main complaint in reviews but I got it now.
I am sorry you had such a hard time with it. It was definitely complicated.

I got the same tower but the top part is not sturdy enough
Hi, I have 5 of these and they are completely full and seem very sturdy. They are sitting on tile floor and not on carpet and are anchored on the wall from the top.

I am really sorry that I have just come across this question. I know this may not help you now, but the shelves are not adjustable at all.

I am glad that you were able to get what you needed. All of my VHS tapes are in storage because I still don't have enough room to display them.

Yes, it is a big shame. I still do not know what I am going to put on them. I am thinking about just filling them with my CD collection that I still have.

I have two Atlantic Oskar multimedia shelving units and the quality is absolute shite. Boards will be chipped and or cracked fresh out of the box and the back piece is thin and will bow or snap. One of my storage units wobbles/sways and is ready to fall apart. It’s sucks because these are what I’m looking for but every brand that makes these multimedia shelving units all use cheap crappy manufactured wood.
I apparently got very lucky. I got 5 of those monsters and they all turned out okay. I do not think I will ever be able to move them though without them falling apart.

I hate to hear that. I have 5 of these and they are all working well for me. I had help lifting them up off the floor though.
