This is terrifying. My mother survived the Holocaust and to hear young people denying its existence makes me both angry and scared about the future of the new generations lack of history education, moral values and empathy.

I know a man born in the mid 1930 in The Netherlands. His mother gave him cups of sugar to put into pour into nazi vehicles. He was young enough to not arouse suspicion and smart enough to do the deed. His mother was risking all their lives. The family was relatively high ranking in the Christian Dutch society.

Good for that young man! I'm amazed that they had that much sugar. The Nazis had everything while depriving everyone else of food, and while murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent people. I will never understand that degree of evil hatred.

Like this Jewish lady, I am also convinced that “something will happen again”
And it IS frightening to know that there is nowhere to hide.😓

My grandfather was part of the Dutch resistance. He helped saved Dutch Jews in Amsterdam. Unfortunately to do this he abandoned my dad, his 3 brothers and my grandmother. They almost starved to death as my grandmother struggled to raise 4 boys under 6 years old (when he first left) in occupied Netherlands where over 20,000 Dutch died of starvation in 1944.
Apparently, after the war he married someone else. And my grandmother moved the them to Australia when my dad was 16 (second youngest). He hadn’t seen his dad since he was 3.
There were no good choices. We can’t let this happen again.

What a great interview; insight into what she personally experienced and how her parents integrated them back into society. So thankful even if they didn’t have much and food was rationed that she still today remembers the love of her parents for the children that is huge. Love and security from your parents starting at young age is essential in starting to form a child’s trust and self confidence/self esteem. Not every child gets that type of love from their parents.

t is so important to talk about this. Thank you for your courage and for how hard this must be for you to share this, but it very important that we keep all this know;edge and all these memeories alive. We all, Jews and non-Jews alike should know. I love the story about the Canadian GIs and the chocolate. Smart move to give it to the kids.

Thank you for your enlightening Document on the Holocaust. I am German born 2 years prior to the outbreak of WW2.
Very little was discussed during and after the war, about the terrible happenings of the extermination of the jews and others . However I got interested by chance ,asked my mother and grandfather about every aspect of it.I researched at Libraries . I wanted to know the truth..Born and raised in the cath. faith our Family was against Nazi - regime during the war and dangerous Spy-system.
Yet..I sometimes come across friends who ardently deny that the holocaust took place..leaving me speechless.....
Anyhow i wish to thank you again and wish you well .
    Take care.God bless you
    Greetings from
    W.Australia ..my home now.

I do not understand with. All the information out in bookd and books and social medis how a woman of her age can say she dosen't know eveything about the holacaust and she said she may neverr know. Does she not want to kknow?? I am not not jewish , i am not religous in any way. Bbut my mother taught me all about the holacaust. She told me about all that realtives that was murdered by the germans.she was not religous at all she said if there was a god he would never
Would have let more tha 6 million people to be murdered just because of their religous belief. She left it up to me if i wanted to brlieve in god. Bit she told me never to trust a german. Idon't think all people are bad, but i don"t have much trust in humanity it's self. Man is a vicoud killer if something brings the killer out in them. An animal will kill out of hunger or fesr nut man will kill just for the sake of killing. Where is this god??

She is talking about what she & her family went through & has absolutely nothing to do with what's going on today between Israel & the Palestinians today. It's called keep on topic.🙄Have you spouted your comment to the Israeli government since you disagree with their actions??

      Check your facts.
The Nazis wanted to kill all the Jews.
The Nazis were defeated and the German people gave up their support for the Nazis. Today Jews live safely in Germany. Today Germany and Israel are friends.
Hamas, like the Nazis, are determined to kill all the Jews. Hamas is a terrorist organization dedicated to the destruction of Israel. Hamas attacked Israel killing, raping, and pillaging. Hamas indiscriminately killed babies and elderly and took hostages. The people of Gaza still support Hamas. Everyday people applauded the taking of hostages and joined in humiliating and torturing. The Gazans still extol the rapists and murderers as heroes, freedom fighters, and the best of Gaza. Once the Gazans give up allegiance to Hamas, then Israel can make peace with the Gazans just as they did with the Germans. Just as the Nazis had to defeated so must Hamas be defeated.

Why to the Palestinians though? Why not the Germans, French or Polish? The Palestinians gave them shelter when they fled Europe. What was done in Europe does not justify what is being done in the Levant.

You need to blame Hamas .... they planned and executed the carnage then they use their own people to hide weapons ! Don’t blame Israel. Israel has been out of Gaza since 2005

Enjoy your freedom. It is your choice to be a victim.
In this world the freedom lies within the heart, hate removed freedom.
      Happy days in hatred.
If you listen to this person she clearly state choice ...
muslim thinking is not a choice it's a peer pressure.
